All history shows us is rule over the blessed site going back and forth and all around a number of rulers. That is all. What is BS here is the assumption that there is some sort of obligation to do so.

What is BS here is complete lack of understanding of history and appreciation of the relentless pursue by Muslims to control what is holly for them, i.e the Qibla-e-awal.

Turkey should have kept its good relation with Syria. That way Turkey would have foothold at Syria's border with Israel. It was pretty foolish for Turkey to engage in a 10 years war with Syria only to achieve nothing and end up making Syria an enemy of Turkey for the foreseeable future.

@MMM-E

Simple question: What creates this obligation that you claim for Muslims to control their "holly" sites?
Where is your mandate to decide who gets to keep what? Who's life matters and who's doesn't...
Why you can get to live where you want or can and why someone elsewhere may not live or gets kicked out?

Willing to share, o self anointed one? The one who gets to ask all and answer none, is that right?

As expected, more BS. I am not deciding anything here, but merely trying to see if there is anything more to this issue than mere empire building cloaked as a religious obligation to drive conquests by many empires throughput history, and not just Islamic. Thus far, there seems to be no source that would support your contention. NONE at all.

And for that I keep on referring you, insisting on you to educate yourself about the history of Islam, spanning all the way to the righteous one, the second Caliph of Islam, the Sahaba, Umar, who was the first to conquer the city to take control of Qibla-e-awal.

YOU MUST HAVE CONTROL OVER TO WHAT BELONGS TO YOU! ... And in case of Al Aqsa, it is getting more important now when these fkers are hell bend on destroying it.

You dont want to learn Islam, you dont want to feel association to it or its history, that perfectly understandable. What you can do however, siting in the opposite camp, understand the other side agenda and dogams as to what they want on this particular site.

You are just pissing in the air for no reason and coming up with random BS really.

Listen! "Trying to see" I don't get paid dime a post to keep dropping one liners ...

Again that perch, the mendacious attitude... how do you get to decide? Or just get lost already.

But how does a qibla that WE NO LONGER USE still "belong" to us that we MUST control it?!

WE NO LONGER USE??? Its a Mosque for crying out loud!! Me and most muslims cant pray in it because its under the occupation of Zionist terrorists, maybe that should be added as a reason to take control of it as well!!!

Just for your education, after Mecca and Madina, the rewards of offering prayer in Al Aqsa are highest then anywhere in the planet.

As rregards the Turkish, Saudi, Emirati, Pakistani, Malay etc elite you think they would even consider living in caves and fighting America? Nota hope in hell.

Well the "hesitant willingness" by the leadership behind the scenes and "Jazbaati & emotional drama" on screen is because of the "overwhelming pressure" by the people of these countries but due to difference of opinions and divisions the probability of any "kinetic action" IMHO is very low even if let say a block is formed.

Is it still used as a QIBLA? Yes, or no?

And prayers are still held there regularly. Yes, or no?

Finally, get a visa to visit and pray there all you want.

Ah yes, ad hominem attacks to cover the lack of any logical basis to refute. Doesn't work. Where have I decided anything for anyone else?
