You do realise that taliban are natives of that country and unlike the propaganda they are not some alien species.

Then there is a massive problem when it comes to choosing sides. supporting the side where dostum a vile putrid excuse for humanity is being kept in Turkey is NEVER going to be acceptable to Pakistan either. That mofo is marked for death by Taliban and Pakistan because of his deeds.

This excuse that talib cannot operate a airport is nothing but a sad lie. As I said before Talib are not stupid and why would they allow NATO to keep up appearance on the airport so people can slip into and out of afghanistan and be spoilers in the region?

But if Turkey wants to get into a heated frakas with the Talib then so be it.

there is not going to be a northern alliance because most of those wearlords have gotten out and settled abroad. secondly the taliban captured border posts with tajikistan for a reason.

Turkey want to go head to head with Taliban then that is their prerogative.

1 simple Question does Turkey allow Afghan taliban to take control of Ankara Air Port even both are brothers.?

Another simple question: are Taliban able to feed the Afgans without the outside aid?

If the airport is closed due to the Taliban takeover, no humanitarian aid! It brings another simple question: is Pak willing to take in millions of fresh Afgan refugees?

Wants much needed help and economic favours from USA. Imagine here in pakistan inflation stays around 6 to 8 percent last year and we are like mehangai mehangai and that too through carona year when prices went up.
And Turkey inflation right now is 16 percent. So erdogan has a certain change of Heart. Started Istanbul canal project, don't know who would fund it.
Wanted talks with isreal. Also wanted to stay as American alley in Afghanistan to do the job what Americans can't. To keep and eye out. Etc
So it's more of economic issue then else.
America has promised easy credit line, dollars in case they succeed to keep the kabul airport running.

Afghanistan is not Pakistan's backyard, calling it one is like shooting ourselves in the foot again because previous times it wasn't enough.

I can hope that Taliban come to an agreement with Turkey because it's necessary for the peace and security of Afghanistan. There's nothing wrong in conducting talks and engaging in negotiations. However, Turkey must respect whatever conclusion the Taliban come to.

But Turkey on the other hand, AKP in specific needs to stop cushioning and pushing Islamist propaganda on foreign nations. They're using religion for politics again, and again, and again.

Look if turkey is there we will know what is getting into Afghanistan.as we all know talib are controlling borders. India going to supply lots of weapons by air.indian will make sure no peace in Afghanistan. Yes, we need a balanced approach. Erdogan's conversion of hagia Sofia to masjid is highly objectionable. Should had remained museum at minimum and best to return to orthodox church. Would had made a great gesture from Turkey.

Afghanistan needs freedom from all foreign interference especially from india, Ghani's puppet regime and US. Pakistan and Turkey should work together on regional matters.
Taliban are conservative Islamist. Yhey have to show flexibility to accommodate all shades of people, liberals, leftists, westerners and women. Islam accommodates all people and does not force any sacred law. Islam is not just about punishments.

It is very difficult to ascertain the reason for this move from Turkey.

My general impression is this is part of Turkey's global ambitions. To move into the role of a regional player. Turkey is extending itself outwards:
From Coastal Greek Islands to Energy shelf of its and Cyprus' coast, to on and off relations with Israel, to Libyan support of its group, to Syria, to Azerbaijan, to second canal for access to Baltic, to its deeper relations with Russia, a now Afghanistan. Turkey is being very practical and opportunistic.

Through this move it might be looking to curry some favors from the US. Favors such as allowing a return to the F35 program, some relaxation on sanctions, support of Turkey's defence industry. Not to mention support of its groups within Afghanistan, like the Uzbek and Turkomen. This however is likely to hurt Turkey's long term interests that she has not fully realized. First this will cause a serious dent with Russia and Pakistan. Both Russia and Pakistan want a clean removal of Western interests from both of our softer underbellies. Then there is China. I cannot imagine this will be supported by them either. Turkey will try to sell this as a win win for all. But fundamental Turkey is trying to leverage our interests for her short term win with the West. I think there is a scent of desperation here as well from Erdogan. He is in all likelihood going to loose the next election, and might be looking to use this for some sort of leverage when he does undertake an extra-constitutional act. Don't discount that that might not happen. Erdogan will face a lot of retribution if he looses, so for him he must win.

I just hope Turkey (Erdogan) does not kill the 100 year appreciation and respect both nations have for each other. But then again political expediency and interests have often corrupted even the best. Lets hope some sanity prevails in Turkey.

Pakistan is doing level best to be a mediator so nothing goes pear shaped. But the 1 percent according to your assessment is still there.

which mean whatever turkey is doing they have a full support from pakistan, so lets not blame Turkey for everything and in my opinion both these countries will talk with Taliban with an idea of safe functioning of the airport as it is also crucial for the delivery of humanitarian aid by international charity groups and Taliban also aware about the importance of foreign aid as Afghanistan has no industrial or agricultural base.

People need to not look at this issue through the prism of 1990s conflicts inside Afghanistan. Many internal and external players have learned lessons from the past and even Pakistan does NOT want a govt of only the Talibans like they had in the 1990s. Pakistan favors a govt of national reconciliation in which all major parties are in power as long as India is kept away from harming Pakistan.

Many things have changed since 2001. All major players around Afghanistan are mostly on the same side. India is not a major player--it's a nasty spoiler who rode the Soviets tanks and then the American tanks to destabilize Pakistan. Turkey is not a major player there either, Dostum or not. Also, the way Pakistan and Turkish ties have been becoming 'strategic' lately, I don't think Turkey will allow policies which would harm Pakistan.

Still... Turkey should stay out if they don't have at least tacit approval by the Talibans. The word 'tacit' is important because it would not make the Talibans to publicly accept Turkey guarding the Kabul Airport but they may back off as long as Turkey restricts the use of the airport for civilian/aid purposes. And Talibans can be quite clever in their strategies: Despite condemning Americans for staying past the agreed May 1, 2021 deadline, they have not been attacking Americans.

I hope Taliban can come to terms with Turkey. If there is economic gain for tukey, then Taliban can ask humanitarian aid from Turkey. Dostum can live in exile and Turkey can keep Uzbek in check. Taliban need gas pipeline fro the revenue, and Turkey can use its relation with Uzbek and Tajiks to negotiate with taliban for the passage, if kabul remains aloof.

Also, I think an international community can come to terms like Russia, China, Pak, Turkey and Central Asian states, and even US:
1. To make Taliban conform with political solution adn international Laws.
2. Can accept Taliban government.
3. Build Afghanistan

Why we make Taliban fight and go against factions which can have government backing like Hazaras from Iran, Northen Alliance from Uzbek/Turkey/Russia/India etc

It's the essence! At the end of the day Afganistan is a Muslim country! And, the Taliban is responsible for all of her folks as the winning party! They shouldn't behave like an occupying force...
