This is a pretty standard response, those types of messages to and fro have been happening for the better part of a decade now. I think this is the first time though that Turkey is actually moving to drill inside what Greece considers its EEZ.
Turkey replied to both Greek and Cypriot navwarns, cancelling those in turn (that is how these things tend to go).
