World bank should certainly learn a few things from you before calculating Turkish ppp. What about considering the general wealth standart of suburb neighborhood to determine ppp of US ? The areas in Izmir outside the hotel area did not impress me much. No good burger or pizza restaurant. Nobody speaks some italian or good english.

Its simply a lower standard than what we have in Tuscany region. I would say the betetr regions of Turkey look like our poorer regions down in southern italy. But we dont have that beggar problem.

Turkey gave to the US 5 kg highly enriched uranium (90%) to manufacture nuclear weapon
