You need to calm down my friend, we are having a discussion - regarding Uygurs, what if I told you I have met some who were in the CCP and others who have grown rich because of Chinese growth. Not all Uygurs are the same my friend.

Still doesnt give anyone the right to massacre them!!

There is no evidence of a massacre, and there are some Kurds who claim that Turkey massacres them, I made them shut up and proved that Turkey only goes after the violent separatists who kill Turkish soldiers and civilians. Can you not accept the same is happening in China.

There will always be malcontents in every society, look at the UK - universal healthcare, a generous welfare state, free education up to University and you had riots of criminals going on, so that proves there are some people who will always act in a hostile manner.

Erdogan must watch himself. Recently, there has been some warmth in Turk-Chinese relationship. If this continues, then it is most likely that Turkey will be left neither this side nor that side, especially after the cold blows that have been exchanged with NATO and USA recently. While empathy is fine and acceptable, it must be drawn in consideration to the situation at hand in foreign affairs.

so now Mr Erdogan will listen to a tshering22 from gangtok, india :woot:

Turkey and China should both resolve it peacefully and they have full potentiall to do it.......indian and israeli interference in creating such ethnic tensions cant be out ruled out since its only india and israel that will be sole beneficiaries once Pakistani is placed in a compromising situation after Chinese Turkish bad relations .

Mr Erdogan is a smart man, he has slowly gaining control of the deep state, and allowing Turkey to become a real democracy - the Chinese are only seeking to control a minority of Uygurs who are bent on a violent uprising.

This stupid Pan-Turanism should be ditched by Turkey. It is so unrealistic. Otherwise, you will become a tool of the West to use against China.

In fact, PRC treats Uyghurs as their first class citizens, they can keep and practise their religion and culture without any problem.

Some of them complain that they cannot find the job, well you have to learn Mandarin for the conformity since China is Han majority, just like you have to learn English when you live in USA.

People who have actually been to China know the truth - that many Uygurs and other minorities have benefited greatly from the Chinese economic growth.

Does china really give a fxxk what turkey thinks???
Turkey has said in a statement that it is concerned over recent incidents in China’s restive Xinjiang region that has left several dead, calling to bring criminals before justice.

The Friday’s statement came days after a trio of recent attacks blamed on militants among Xinjiang’s native Turkic Muslim Uighur population opposed to heavy-handed Chinese rule. At least three dozen people, including the alleged attackers, were killed in the attacks in the cities of Hotan and Kashgar, which came just ahead of the start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Uighurs are culturally, linguistically and religiously distinct from China's Han ethnic majority, and share many links with ethnic Turks in Central Asia and Anatolia.

The Foreign Ministry statement said Turkey attaches importance to security, stability and peace of people in Xinjiang, whom the statement said Turkey considers as “friendship bridge” with China.

The latest major anti-Chinese riot in Urumqi was two years ago in which at least 197 people were killed, hundreds arrested, and scores left missing. The unrest also caused relations between Turkey and China to get worsened after Turkey’s leadership strongly criticized China.
