What's new

Tunisia gov't says to close 80 mosques for inciting 'violence'!

In a school, you learn and then you move on with that knowledge into life. The madrassa on the other hand looks to induct one into a political movement and a commitment of lifelong service. This is why even the best madrassas are so dangerous.
That's because Madrassas cannot differentiate between State and Religion. They believe it's their responsibility to impose Islamic social order where State fails, in their opinion :D

Your childish comments on the picture is enough to show mental level.
What childish comments? Why is the most powerful leader in the world bowing down to a Saudi joker in such a humiliating way? :D :D :D

Hah, I'm not touching this with a ten foot pole. I fought the global reserve currency wars (and the Plaza Accord wars, and the super power wars, etc...) last year, let's try something new in 2015.
Finance is nothing but war. Goddamn it!

Hi,

Tunisia is doing the right thing---. All mosques need to be under the state tutelage----all the teaching material must be state approved as well as the sermons.

The education in the madrassah must be the same as that in the regular schools----. No teachings of jihadi rmies.

Itæs amazing to acknowledge how many PDF members actually applaud this decision by the Tunisian government. Personally, I wasn't expecting such positive response! It also happened to expose what kind of a mindset that is against this decision :D

Yes the mindset which knows this move will only give boost to extremists and extremism are opposing it but some are right now either to innocent or to dumb to see that. But soon Tunisia and world will see How foolish this decision was.

US just approved gay marriage nationwide. Gullible Islamists would now claim in 1000 years they will be proven right how foolish American are :D

ISIS was created as a result of US support for a bunch of rebel factions against the Syrian government, coupled with Saudi and Iranian support to various proxy factions. Many of those fighters ended up rallying under one banner, the banner of ISIS. Blaming the Saudis for all of it is wrong.

As for Soros, the words of anyone involved in politics should not be taken as a reliable source of information about politics.

I dont blame Saudis for all, I think that they create ISIL under US orders and I think that Saudis lost partially the control of their beast. For example, what happened yesterday isn't good for Saudi Arabia, in fact it's very dangerous for Saudi Arabia, because those terrorists attacks can be used by the west to justify a greater bombing over ISIL and may those bombings may fall over Saudi Arabia territory and triggering a big war. If Obama was able to bomb IS in Syria without US congress permission, without UN permission and without Syria gov permission... He is able to decide launch a attack against ISIL in Saudi Arabia territory and triggering a big war in ME in minutes.

And Soros is envolved in politics. Ask East Ukrainians. Soros couldn't do in Ukraine what he do without US permission in a high level.

Do you think that a man can make a huge amount of money in a hedge fund without high quality info about politics?

Yes, he is. That is what I said. Read my post again.

Do you think that a man with high quality info about politics will honestly give out that info to the public?

In my opinion the issue of Islamic terrorism (terrorism committed by Muslims in the name of Islam) is quite misunderstood...especially by the conservative segment of the society.

The argument before was that it is only the illiterate folks who usually fall for such organizations..which is utterly ridiculous as ISIS and Alqaeda have shown otherwise.

Mad-rassas and some mosques are a CONDITIONING and BREEDING center, and the same goes for some organizations such as Tableeghi Jamat. Their primary function apart from collecting funds is to condition the future foot-soldier for hardcore terrorist organizations...that is why clamp down and closures are important. A hardcore terrorist organization is a "corporate" whilst madrassas, some mosques and some organizations are the "universities" providing the future workforce.

I personally know members of tableeghi jamat...qualified doctors who have lived a good portion of their lives in the States and I swear to you all they are waiting for is a push to join either Taliban or some other organization.

People like @Zarvan are a lost cause and currently all his anti-ISIS or anti-TTP rhetoric is out of self-preservation. They don't want to incur the wrath of the Army so they're sucking up to them...the moment the Army or the nation let's its guard down they back-stab "to carry out God's will and implement shariat on the infidels".

Anyways in the context of Pakistan the establishment, the army and the intelligence played a vital part in nurturing these extremists IN PAKISTAN. Although the petro-dollar played a vital part...but it is us who allowed it to happen within our boundaries. Only time will tell if the lessons have been learnt or not.

In short, Islam needs major reforms...and I used to (still) hear from muslims that Islam came into existence because other religions have been corrupted.

Its the first lie every religion invents for legitimacy :D

.
corrected:D
Not really. In order to make Islam look better than its Christian and Jewish rivals, Muslims had to invent this lie that Islam was somehow infallible. It cost them a huge price 14 centuries later in the form of Islamic terrorism! :D

.
Bring them under government control, don't close them. Simply closing them won't change much, but bringing them under gov control can give the gov a chance to spread an anti-extremist message.

.
BTW there is a lie in every religion and i don't need to tell you what are the lies specifically in every religion it's just that Islam has became the King of Lies and extremism
I don't think Islam has preached anywhere more lies than other Abrahamic religions. But unlike others, its claim that its infallible cost it the most. While other religions lies were exposed over time after thorough internal investigations, such is not even allowed in Islam because again: It's infallible! :D :D :D
