TUE's - Therapeutic Use Exemptions - are almost exclusively granted by the US dominated IOC, to - not surprisingly - American (and friends) athletes.

Methylphenidate is used to treat ADD/ADHD Treatments for ADD/ADHD - itself a highly questionable 'ailment' - which are related to amphetamines are are by any definition, a performance enhancer. See the word 'meth' in there? Think 'meth', indeed.

Prednisone is a cloaking agent which eliminates otherwise trace agents of actual performance enhancers

Alexander Shcherbakov: The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) authorized American tennis players Serene and Venus Williams to use banned drugs. The corresponding documents were published by the hacking group Fancy Bear ( https://fancybear.net/ ).

According to the documents, in 2010, 2014 and 2015, Serene Williams was allowed to use prohibited drugs: oxycodone, hydromorphone, prednisone, prednisolone and methylprednisolone. Her older sister Venus in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 received permission to use prednisone, prednisolone, triamcinolone and formoterol.

It is also mentioned that the American gymnast Simon Biles in 2016 passed a positive doping test for methylphenidate (psychostimulant), but avoided disqualification. At the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 Biles won four gold medals. The antidoping agency confirmed the authenticity of the documents.

I do not consider the Team US as a decent and moral organization.

They are involved in high-professional dishonesty and they are using state power to control the examination process. Therefore, even some irregularities cannot be contained and discovered, they keep it at individual level, and make it surface many years after the medals are granted.

I believe that the US athletics/sports need to be exposed to independent international investigation. Hopefully, it will come in the form of some defector or some less deniable online leaks.

I believe it is just a matter of time. There must be various secret services working on it.

well as far as I'm aware she was positive for Meldonium which is an Anti-ischemic drug and have nothing with steroids .

its what happened in her case

and then later in Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) it was what they concluded
Following a hearing on 7 and 8 September 2016, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) panel found that Sharapova had a reduced perception of the risk that she took while using Mildronate, because (a) she had used Mildronate for around ten years without any anti-doping issue, (b) she had consulted the Russian doctor who prescribed the Mildronate for medical reasons, not to enhance her performance, and (c) she had received no specific warning about the change in status of meldonium from WADA, the ITF, or the WTA.[210][211] However, the CAS panel also noted Sharapova’s failure to disclose her use of meldonium on her doping control forms and that she was at fault for (a) failing to give her agent adequate instructions as to how to carry out the important task of checking the Prohibited List, and (b) failing to supervise and control the actions of her agent in carrying out that task (specifically the lack of any procedure for reporting or follow-up verification to make sure that her agent had actually discharged his duty).

so if you want to put an example she is not a good case it was proven that she had legitimate reason to use the drug and the 15 month was never was for her use of Meldonium .

The only way for US "athletes" to even challenge real athletes from countries like China and Russia is by using drugs. US "athletes" are biggest dopers yet US dare to accuse others of doping.

Many of those listed are not even involved in World Sporting events. For instance Mark McGwire is a retired local Baseball player. The US has tons of professional sports players compared to other countries (just the top 5 professional sports have over 4000 active players). Testing on all of them is going to turn up hits. Even a 1% failure rate multiplied by all the years of testing is going to add up.
