All this biased BS aside we all know this was ment as a message. No way this Russian plane entered Turkish airspace "accidently" due to the "navigation error". Not only did they do that but locked on to our F-16s for a full 5 minutes IN OUR OWN AIRSPACE. Its even clearly mentioned that the Turkish airforce used the neccesary precausions and yet they still went ahead and "accidently" violated our sovereignty. I would say send a message back, this is our turf, our backyard, lets make that clear.

No, its pretty big one for Russia since they only have a few of them. And if the Russian aircraft with its 3D thrust vector can be shot down by an F-16, well...
