•I know J-31 might be already ready in 2020 but im not sure about our relations with china (uigur problem).
• Pakistan, maybe buy a couple of their jf 17 jets and modify them i think turkey does a good job modifying and modernising stuff. U can maybe pull an f16 block 50 out of a jf17
•the russians offered us to join one of their 5th gen MIG stealth fighter projects (But we have still unresolved issues in northern syria lets see if they will help us out or go against us but we will ahve to make our position clear as well im supporting assad because this is the man with "i will take every inch of my land" ideologie this is fine acceptable for turkey. The russians also want to diversify their economy and they see turkey as a potentialy country where they export their stuff and vice versa maybe thats how u can further engage with them . Altough putin said that relations are on pre jet crisis i believe that relations will go to pre jet crisis when syrian war ends with an acceptable result for both russian, syrian and turkish parties.
If procuring J-31s from China is a problem due to Uygur issue, the same problem exists for JF-17s too as it is a Chinese fighter even though Pakistan is funding it as part of the JV.
If Turkey's issues with Russia did not prevent it from procuring S-400s why would it be an issue procuring fighters from Russia?
Turkish own program will going to replace F-5s, F-4s, and later F-16s from their fleet.
The answer to that question is the alternative to the f-35 is not a US, Russian or Chinese jet fighter. This should not be a question for us, it should always be our own fighter. Dependency to any country always is a risk.
The only thing we need right now is to spend more on R&D and plan long term projects that will make us independent in defence.
I recall a particular individual that worked at SSM, who did a AMA Reddit thread a couple years ago. He explained that he and a lot more of his colleagues actually thought that Turkey didnt need the F-35 planes, but rather that the F-18 Super Hornets was more capable and met the neccesary requirements of TuAF fairly easely. But ofcourse he explicitly said that it is his own opinion and that it doesnt reflect that of the SSM.
If Turkey was somehow ever to abandon the JSF program, the alternative would still probably be an American made fighter jets like the F-18. Especially now considering that we are getting our own light aircraft carrier in the near future. The Chinese are simply no viable alternative to American fighter jets in the near future. Turkey is not leaving NATO anytime soon, so you can forget the Russian platforms as well. No offence to our Pakistani bros but the JF-17 or any other of its future variants wont ever come close to what the F-35 or F-18 are capable of doing.
Is turkey not purchasing the f-35 ??We are colliding with the americans heavily. Our interests with them dont align any longer- at all. We dont really see Russia & Iran as a threat while they plan to take a harder stance against them.
Well, I would say extend the life of these
and change TFX project into a multi role jet.

Do some of you guys really think any PAK, IND or Iranian system can compare to western platforms Lol
You also need to change the TFX engine to be a Russian or Chinese one rather than a UK one.

We don't have any viable options to F-35 unless it's from Britain or France/Italy cooperation. The swedes could be a good partner in R&D, let's hope our politicians don't piss them off too much.

Point on.Nobody is feeding pork to muslims, I don't put pork on the table when I have muslim guests, altough I know some eat it.It's just a matter of etiquette and common courtesy .
