Why are civilians moving army ammunition? Don't they have helicopters, vehicles or at least mules or porters?

Helicopters having been unloading stuff at Drosh as per public videos, perhaps they have also been unloading supplies further ahead it's just that we don't know. There is a video where there is also a mule present. It seems that there is perhaps a shortage of them and waiting around for the relevant equipment to show up will waste time, so they asked if people would want to volunteer I speculate. The volume of munitions being ferried seems to be very sizable indicating perhaps presence of a large no of troops that are taking part in the operation.
Some of the people in the video may also be porters, it's hard to distinguish as they were civilian clothing.

It was a very large attack from three side....figures being thrown around are in their thousands !.....n these are by ppl on the ground
We have had more casualties then being reported....f.c troops have also been captured.
A few villages on our side of the border have reported being looted n torched.

Our counter attack although took time was pretty effective, resulting in dozens of casualties on the enemy plus terrorists have been captured.

Things are stable for the moment but this looks like a probationary attack.....so we all need to prepare for bigger n worse situations.

Quite perplexing here.

What’s stopping Pakistan army conducting strikes inside Afghanistan to send Taliban (good ones) and TTP (bad ones) a message.

You only embolden them when you don’t escalate the cost of conflict.

That is everyone's question ...why , they know the position and they know the movement...how easily thousands of them walkin inside Pak border and show muscules.....it is mind boggling ..

I am inclined to believe a post has been at least overrun, there's no other way for them to entrench themselves so solidly, so quickly w/o being in pre-existing fortifications imo. Also regarding the foot traffic, it is also plausible that TTP has control of the only road(s) that grants access to the regions currently under threat. Hence, explains the ferrying of munitions by foot.

Funny thing is Pakistan has the capability to do Kargil 2.0, and follow up with a Gibraltar style operation (would succeed in today's environment).

But Khusra establishment is more worried about protecting their domestic district level corruption than national matters.

Funny thing is Pakistan has the capability to do Kargil 2.0, and follow up with a Gibraltar style operation (would succeed in today's environment).

Its quite difficult. For India an attack on the northern parts was always a logistical nightmare. Indian attack on GB to cut off Pakistan from China would mean involving China as well. Chinese pressure on India in Arunachal Pradesh is also a plus point.

That’s why they’d threaten attack on central and southern borders as a counter.

What this means is India will try to keep Pakistan busy at its western border indirectly. Taliban, if not complicit with TTP, do not see strategic value in controlling their TTP cousins. They seem to think Pakistan would not escalate in this regard.

Not much. Being overblown a bit now. PAF ac/ UCAVs are 24/7 in air, gunships on overwatch, artillery firing as usual. Nothing is stopping us. They are being taken out slowly but surely.
