German Chancellor already considered USA as "Untrustworthy".

Trump is pretty much turning the US into a banana republic. I wonder how much more damage donnie will cause to the US credibility.
You have obviously no clue (nor do you provide evidence in support of this claim)
Take Kaliningrad, for example, which is a Cold War remnant still a piece of Russia, although it has no physical connextion to the mothercountry (it is in fact former East Prussia)
Why are 500km cruise missiles and 400km air defence missiles in Kaliningrad Oblast NOT a military threat?

Oh, and running a trade surplus/deficit is charity?
Already VW is contemplating to no longer invest anymore in its US Tenessee plant, due to what Trump is doing. That's jobs in the US that are affected, pal. Do you think VW doesn't have alternatives?
You think Europeans can't invest in Asia, South America?
And you are not there to offer protection to foreign countries but due to your national interests.
Let's not try to fool each other.
If that's the case then bring all your soldiers back to your main land. Problem solved. What national interest. I am sick and tired of countries claiming their national interests as USA's national interests.

It's actually 3 times smaller in purely numerical terms but the gap is even more gigantic when it comes to modern hardware such as air defence or air force assets. It all comes to the fact that Romania went through a disarmament process after 1989 while Greece kept the arms race with Turkey.@flamer84
You have double the population of Greece. But Greece's army is as twice big as yours ?! (Same applies to Poland as well)
No you won't .If they don't pay, we will. Enough of this charity.
I see....cold war ended and you curbed your military..It's actually 3 times smaller in purely numerical terms but the gap is even more gigantic when it comes to modern hardware such as air defence or air force assets. Yes, Russia is an existential threat .I don'the even know how to call the disarmament process that we went through, as money were not used to create a flourishing economy _see the lost decade of 1990-2000",they cut whole factories, brand new planes (IAR 93),etc,and generally pulverised the whole defence industry which costed billions of dollars in licences and RD. Now they seek to start a new. ..more like pushed from behind by the US, if you ask me.If it were up to the political class they would still throw money on "social "programs ment to secure reelection and not sustainable growth or security.I see....cold war ended, and you curb your military..
As a Romanian do you think that Russia posses a threat against your country ?
I don't think you can find another American member in this forum who would agree with your ideas. (in terms of pulling troops out of allied countries.)
Another point is; you are not Donald Trump or whoever shaping the US foreign policy. So, stop talking for the behalf of them.
Okay, i understand that curbing military expenses didn't reflected good on economy because of the inefficiency of the state.Yes, Russia is an existential threat .I don'the even know how to call the disarmament process that we went through, as money were not used to create a flourishing economy _see the lost decade of 1990-2000",they cut whole factories, brand new planes (IAR 93),etc,and generally pulverised the whole defence industry which costed billions of dollars in licences and RD. Treason....Okay, i understand that curbing military expenses didn't reflected good on economy because of the inefficiency of the state.
What i don't understand is; if Russia is an existential threat why the disarmament process ? Are we posing much more threat to Greece than Russia poses to Balkan countries ? Not even mentioning Greece and Turkey are both NATO countries.
I still remember Nokia desperate attempts to come up with their own version of iOS after Apple dropped iPhone bomb early 2007. Only one who could compete with them was google, another American company. Same is going to happen with cars. Linux hardly have any share in PC market.
Well said.
UK is already leaving EU and others are going to follow suit. EU will collapse like a house of cards and Gemany would be the last country standing and then we would deal with Germany separately 1-on-1.
All talk just to save the collapsing EU empire.
UK is leaving EU and others are going follow.
We are hard working people unlike the lazy Europeans.
It is much less S/W than it is the capacitive sensor, which enables the touch sensitive screen.
People I know told me that Apple stole a critical European patent to create the sensor.
Linux is a European (Finnish) Operating System.
Plenty of other examples.
You have a Russia with a leader that claims that the dissolving of the Soviet Union
was a global disaster.
That leader breaks the fundaments of European Security by the Invasion and Annexation
of Crimea.
Russia engages in a multitude of unfriendly behaviour, including
Russians are not to be trusted, from our point if view.
- Falsification of documents
- Trolling Swedish Forums, pretending to be Swedish.
- Simulating attacks on its neighbours by bombers.
- Stationing Cruise Missiles.
- Reckless behaviour by fighter pilots
- Visits to the homes of soldiers by Russian Nationals
- Meddling in our internal affairs.
- Flying in commercial airspace without active transponders
- Seems to be financing NGOs which only have one task, promote Russian propaganda.
Where did I say something like WW2 would happen? I was saying that Donnie is simply destroying American leadership in the world which was built on hard work. In the coming years we will see the so-called American exceptionalism going out of the window and other powers like EU take a more assertive stance. If he had done this much damage in this first 6 months, you can only imagine what would happen in the coming years. It would already be a banana republic if it wasn't for its military power.US is not Germany.
Never was, never will be. They will never elect madman to start WW2 and to massacre civilians based on their religion or ethnicity.
Trump is a clown, but he cant do anything to destroy US image in the world.
There is Senate and there is Congress.
There is California and millions of Americans who strongly disapprove his actions.
And remember, Donald Trump didnt won, but Hillary lose. With any other rival, he would be destroyed.
Unlike Germany, US have a centuries of functioned democracy, where president is just a pawn.
California will leave the US before the EU is dissolved.
The Brexit fiasco was not repeated in France, and as long as Germany and France
form a core, anyone else leaving is not very important.
Polls here show that support for the EU has strengthened after the UK referendum.
I predict that there will be G6 meetings soon, since meeting the US with Drumpf
participating is probably counterproductive.
