Trump voices concern about U.S. trade deficit in call with Vietnam PM

A large portion of the other 75% are steel, machinery, electronics, etc imported from China and re-branded and exported as made in vn... In other words, 90% of vn export are shoes and bras, etc...That's why they only make 12 cents per hour according to the math from IMF and world bank :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:
That explains why @Viet has been saying making hi-tech products are like making shoes to Vietnam. Just put the label Made in Vietnam, there we have it the next rising super power

Mod is unfair when not ban chinese trollers on this forum.

Vietnam should stay low and try not to attract attention. These are critical times for growth.

Maybe VCP should be more careful about fifth-column US hands within the government.

They may be secret Southern US-loving capitalists who fought alongside US against their own people.

IMF says Vietnam Gdp per capita in purchasing power parity is $10,400. By 12 cent per hour, wage will be $30 per month or $360 per year. The numbers don’t add up.

Wrong. We are a developing country we never claim to be something like a eunuch discovered the world.

No, you get salary which is converted to USD to do the comparison, we are talking about norminal GDP per capita here, you have just 1/5 of ours before you 'make an announcement' LMAO (if we count that, you still get 20 cents...)... Then we can do the math of whatever your fellow vietnamese friends claim about salary in China and devide it by 5 to get yours. You know the logic? If the number doesn't match yours, it is your problem to B.S. about our salary first...
Another reference here:

BTW, you should stop talking about your 'purchasing power' like the indians do, if you have any shame... You are slightly better than indians because at least your millionares have the 'purchasing power' to buy a 50cc bike :omghaha:

Nonsense
It’s legitimate to talk on purchasing power in this case because Trump accuses Vietnam playing on currency. He uses data of IMF saying VND is at least 15 pct undervalued.
Vietnam exports increased from $73b to $300b from 2010 to 2020. However VND is deprecated by 10 pct during the period.
Damn! 66 Billion USD? What's your secret, Vietnam?
Not a secret: we copy the chinese. However our exports to the US is still little if considering the US buys $3 trillion per year. Lot of rooms to grow.

So what? Trump accuses a lot of countries including China a 'currency manipulator', but it can't change the fact that you only got so much 'purchasing power' to buy a 50cc bike...
If you want to compare salary, just convert your local currency to USD, which is 1/5 of ours...haha...
BTW, Mr.Viet should trade all his Euro with vnd using the 'ppp' rate and to buy himself a 50cc bike
