China's purchasing power and market are feeding the American companies... Compared to this, the trade deficit is nothing... Just think about it: over 400 Walmart stores are in China, 1/3 of apple sales are in China... GM sold 43% of its vehicles in China... And there are Tesla, Boeing, HP, Nike, ..., and numerous service and consultant companies... This list goes forever...
