Trump: Saudi king wouldn't last 'two weeks' without US support

Bro,

Let us not make these two holier than thou, just becase they are good to Pakistan.

Russia shielded Assad the Butcher in Syria. And China have disputes with several countries as well. What China have done in SCS, show its imperialistic mindset.

None of these are saint at all.

Also, big mistake if you think that US will continue to give space to Russia and China to maneuver just about anywhere. Just wait and watch.

The world is seemingly multi-polar but US is stronger than ever. And US is planning much much ahead on strategic level. They will make big moves in the future.
Only time will tell, Bro.

We've roughly a battalion there only for training purposes armed with Infantry Combat weapons and Al Talha APCs. Even the weapons issued to the troops are done by the Saudi Military Ordnance since we do not have our own base at there as compared to the Americans having 6 Military bases along with Air Support, filled mobilised Armor/Cavalry Units and Aviation squadrons. It'll be a suicide mission for Pakistani troops to participate in any kind of action during a possible US attempt to overthrow the monarch. They'd instead move towards the Makkah and Madinah to secure the areas and coordinate with the present Saudi Troops or any incoming Army of the other Muslim Country like Turkey, Iran, Indonesia or Yemen to guard the Holy Sites. That's all that can be done. We're not concerned with rest of the Monarch's area at all.

We have enough numbers and USA starting a war on Saudis will be a US adventure that needs to be 100% successful because if not it will be a US grave for ever. :)
Muslim countries will jump in all US bases in the area are in range of Pakistani missiles. USA bases in Afghanistan will also be attacked it will be mess USA will regret. Over throwing Saudis for USA is not that easy. Harba will shut the straight for good and USA will stand out side in Indian ocean to fight any war. Situation is not that easy for USA as well. Pakistan is a counter balance for Saudis and a trusted ally. :)

Russia shielded Assad the Butcher in Syria.

China have disputes with several countries as well. What China have done in SCS, show its imperialistic mindset. China have also drawn its lines in CPEC, for negotiations. No such thing as all-weather friendship between the states.

None of these are saint at all.

Also, big mistake if you think that US will continue to give space to Russia and China to maneuver just about anywhere. Just wait and watch.

The world is seemingly multi-polar but US is stronger than ever. And US is known to plan much ahead than its opponents on the strategic level. US will make big moves as well, today and in the future.
Not saying Russia and China are saints.

That is the problem with us Muslims today, instead of being For USA, or Russia, or China, Muslims need to be Pro themselves.

Muslims need to fight for their own interests, their rights, their society, their countries!

.
The Saudis need to learn to stand by themselves rather than relying on outside help.

Muslims need to look towards their interests stop relying on being protected.

In this shark eat shark world nobody cares about helping you but furthering their own self interests.

Muslims in their history used to look towards their own interests and stake their claim not by begging.

Of-course.

But keep in mind that USSR once seemed unstoppable. US outpaced it at strategic level eventually, and USSR is history now.

China have its share of vulnerabilities as well. Already, US is making China feel the pain with ongoing Trade War, and there is not even as much a dent on US economy in return. US have economic masterminds/imperialists, who have much superior grasp of Chinese economics, and what US can do to it. These moves are calculated in advance.

Let me give you a hint. Trump administration replaced NAFTA with superior USMCA recently. However, Trump administration have hinted that it is not done with China yet.

FYI: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/10/02/new-nafta-deal-trump-team-can-now-focus-ire-on-china-trade-war.html

Trump administration also squeezed DPRK so hard that Kim Jong-Un himself decided to meet Donald Trump and negotiate his way out of the crisis. All the posturing with massive ballistic missiles and a thermo-nuke test, went out the drain.

Now, some members here talk big of CPEC but keep in mind that PTI-led government is under no illusion. CPEC is safe as long as we are on talking terms with US.

I will leave a hint for the wise: Pakistan is in FATF Grey List at present. Next move would be FATF Black List, and Pakistani economy will be woooosh.

Nobody have access to divine revelations here, and can tell with certainty who will reign supreme in the emerging order.

Holy Quran offer the message of humility to all:-

Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful. (Surah An-Nisa, verse 36)

And We have already sent [messengers] to nations before you, [O Muhammad]; then We seized them with poverty and hardship that perhaps they might humble themselves [to Us]. (Surah Al-An'am, verse 42)

Say, "Who rescues you from the darknesses of the land and sea [when] you call upon Him imploring [aloud] and privately, 'If He should save us from this [crisis], we will surely be among the thankful.' " (Surah Al-An'am, verse 63)

Pakistan is a strong country [good defenses], is blessed with a great geography [virtually everything here], have geopolitical clout of its own (CPEC), but do you ever see me boasting?

Allah Almighty knows, what will happen in the future. We are all his servants.

WEST is unlikely to loose its power, IMHO.

1.) This confirms what we already know, Trump is borderline socially+politically handicapped. US without Trump can promote arms sales/influence Saudi policies in much more discreet and effective manner. It's actually more cruel the way they approach their alliances with Arabs, but because it is so discreet it doesn't get much attention. They fixate their ambitions with Arab allies around counter terrorism/anti-Iran focus. Wealthier Arab nations should be more than that, and they recognize it, but it comes with time. So back to my point, Trump just embarrasses the US as a global leader, but at same time everyone knows this will pass with time and that they just need to treat him well in public to avoid public relations disaster he might cause like he did with Canada.

2.) His assertion is not true, Saudi Royal Family enjoys much local support and faces no existential threat from the Saudi populace. US strategic pledges towards Saudi Arabia certainly deters any enemies from considering attacking directly or via proxy. Without it, however, they can find other nations that pledge to support them, on top the support they would likely get from Arabs/Muslim allies in the event that their security is threatened.

3.) US relationship with Saudi Arabia is strategic that goes way beyond the act of selling arms to an ally. Trump fails to realize the various dimensions of the relationship, and all he sees is sales that in turn create jobs for domestic military industry in the US.

4.) That being said, Saudi's don't need to host massive events every time a new US President is sworn in. The Saudi Royal Family thinks the traditional Arab way, and think because he is some 'businessman' that they have a clever approach up their sleeves via courting him. They need to realize he can't cause major shift in US policy towards Saudi Arabia, and for now and years to come US has already determined it sees value in a strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia. So they need to play their cards better. Egypt in my opinion is more effective at getting what it wants out of Western allies while giving the least price. There are reasons for that however that don't apply to Saudi's. This is the problem you have when a monarchy doesn't give heed to independent(local think tank) analysts. They need to do that.

Lol

You have no strategic depth in your thinking. Should US go after KSA (God forbid), it will shut down its bases across the Middle East first. US would remove Iran and Pakistan from the picture (ENTIRELY), next. And some additional number of steps, to make sure that KSA is isolated and vulnerable.

This won't be a mere expedition. This would be the ultimate clash of civilizations (the endgame) in which US will bring much of its strength to bear, against the entire Islamic bloc [if necessary]. Have a good look at the sheer size of USAF and USN, and quality of their respective assets on top. USN have established solid defenses against cruise missiles and even ballistic missiles, and can strike at potential targets from much distance. They have extensive surveillance apparatus in place (they can see lot of military-oriented activity on a 24/7 basis), and have studied regional defenses of many countries over the course of years. The entire Islamic bloc is much behind in the domain of science, engineering and level of preparation for the endgame.

What you saw in Iraq and Afghanistan were mere expeditions, to fuel their MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX, and generate lot of business. They fulfilled this agenda, in glorious manner.

WE are not supernatural beings, my naive bro. Civilians never stand a chance against a powerful army out in the open.

No Islamic country can move an entire army to KSA on a moment's notice. No aircraft carriers. No Islamic country have fielded a huge number of spy satellites out there, to construct a clear picture of American military deployments across the Arabian Sea, and where to strike. No submarines armed with MiRV'ed SLBM. No long-range bombers. No long-range ALCM. Lacking in EW. Lacking in radar coverage. Lacking in defenses against cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. So much more.

Scores of Islamic country, do not even have an army. Only few.

Come back to Earth.

Same goes for USA.

And his entire cabinet smacked their faces at that. However, the Saudis will not react because they see the long game of keeping the US at their side until they have fully developed as a peoples and as a nation.

Exactly, the Saudis are not ready yet.

I am aware USA is not going to sit down and not develop it's capabilities further.

But the rest of the world is catching up as well!
