True and Most Beautiful Message Of Islam

The beautiful religion Islam.. the beautiful family of Muslim Ummah.. Grateful to Allah for guiding us to Islam.. the true meaningful religion..Alhamdulillah.
Here in Sweden, a black Somalian is often the Imam at our Masjid and Pakistanis, Arabs, Swedish blondes...all pray behind him in his leadership (Imamat).. that's the beauty of Islam and we don't even realise it.

I won't talk anything religious..I will put my views on Islam based on its historical and social significance ..I will be as much unbiased as possible

At the outset I would like to make it clear that I don’t believe Mohammad was a prophet..I believe he was a kind human who got disturbed with the events around him in his barbaric society and set out on a mission to change it…He used religion as a tool to bring about that change..he might have lied that he was receiving messages from God but he definitely had the divine blessings in his mission…of course,there are a few things which I don’t like about Mohammad which I am not going to talk about as I will be banned if I do so.

The most beautiful thing about Islam is it has least number of rituals when compared to other religions..take wedding as an example..you just ask both the bride and bridegroom if both of them accept each other and once they say ‘yes’,it’s over. Of course the present day Christianity also doesn’t have many rituals but it’s not the same at the time when Islam started.

2) Islam just eliminates many superstitions by saying no power (good or bad) in this universe is more powerful than God…That one notion keeps many superstitions away…Hindus even to this day are immersed in uncountable number of superstitions and here we have a man some 1500 years ago who was born in a desert which is completely filled with superstitions who brought change in the thoughts and backward thinking of not just those desert dwellers but crores of people across the world.

Of course present day Muslims are not devoid of superstitions..thanks to hadees.

3) Of all the religions ,Islam is the most flexible and most realistic…it doesn’t ask you to stay unmarried to get closer to God or doesn’t ask you perform difficult rituals like starving yourself or going to Himalayas or cutting relations with everyone (mentally) to attain spiritual enlightenment.

4) Mohammed didn’t assign any special qualities or status to himself which he could have easily done..He simply said he was just a human who was delivering the message of god..very few in his place would have resisted the temptation to raise himself to the level of god( of course hadees which were written 250 years after his death fabricated his lifestory and attributed so many things like miracles and a few sayings to him like Calling Mohammad the best of all the prophets which is entirely against the statement of Quran)

5)Islam is the only religion where prayers are simple..a rich stands beside a poor in prayers…I worked in a collector office..there was a deputy collector who was muslim…he would go to the masjid which is right in front of the office every Friday and would do namaz and come back..he got no special treatment there…he may sometimes stand beside a beggar…behind a coolie..but it doesn’t make a difference before God..Really wonderful.

If he was a Hindu or a Christian ,he would get special pooja in temples by making all the devotees stand in the queues for hours..special darshans etc etc.

6) Cleaning of genitals with water everytime you urinate(this practice might have got to do with lack of water in deserts where you can’t have baths everyday..in any case it’s a good practice)


7) Setting some money aside for the poor..distributing meat to the poor during bakrid(but I don’t like the concept of not distributing meat to non muslims..I am sure Mohammad wouldn’t have recommended such a practice..again invention of hadees)

8) Hajj..Where on Earth could you see people from across the world irrespective of their race,wealth or class gather at one place and pray to that one God?That itself is a beautiful spectacle.

9) Quran gives rights of education and property to women..of course thanks hadees again..Women are told they are major hell dwellers and less intelligent.

10) Many of the things mentioned above were much ahead of their time…case in point the equality of humans ..

And the most miraculous thing is this was all done by a tribe in remote insignificant deserts of our planet.

But the major drawback of Islam is it isn’t compatible with atheists…it isn’t even compatible with people who just say ‘La ilaha ilallah’..one is also required to say Mohammed ur rasoolullah..hinduism thrives even after thousands of years because it suits everyone…an atheist,a monotheist,an agnostic..you can be everything and can still be a hindu..Christianity is on the death bed in Europe because there is no scope for free thinking in it..you have to believe in jesus as god..no second thoughts…Islam may face the same threat if it doesn’t allow that space for free thinking….I strongly believe Islam can be reformed if it rids itself of all the hadees and follow Quran alone..It is possible to follow Quran even without hadees..Did you ever observe that every person who criticizes islam quotes only hadees ..You will hardly find anyone using quran to blame islam(except for the verses which ask mushriks to be killed..and those verses are taken out of context)..the only verses which I find hurtful in the quran are these : O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust.(quran 5.51)

Khatam an-Nabiyyin (Arabic: خاتم النبيين‎, khātam an-nabīyīn; or Khātim an-Nabīyīn), usually translated as Seal of the Prophets, is a title used in the Qur'an to designate the prophet Muhammad and it is also translated as The Best and The Most Perfect of all Prophets.

The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) said:

“Fear Allaah with regard to women, for you have taken them as a trust from Allaah…….” (Muslim)


“The best of you is the one who is best towards his wife, and I am the best of you towards my wives.” (Tirmidhi, Ibn Maajah, saheeh by al-Albaani).

That's Hadeeth for you. Besides Hadeeth is more concerned with bringing the innocence of a woman to the lime light than her I.q level - - - - - - -. Hence unlike Christians/Jews you won't witness Muslim men in specific blaming the women kind for their ills / bad fate in a divine sense.

Brother Malcom X, aka El Hajj Malik El Shahbaz, was the greatest Muslim the Western world had ever produced. Civil rights leader, religious preacher, international ambassador, and rightly regarded by African Americans as both a Moses and savior to his people.

Countless personalities were touched by him, most notably Muhammad Ali and Warith Deen Muhammad.

It is unfortunate that his own government feared him and assassinated him, and then killed MLK Jr.

Thank You For Your Input and While I May Not Agree With Some Of The Things You Said I Find It Refreshing That You Expressed Your Differences Without Using Any Insulting Language Like Most Islamophobes.

One Word O Ahadeeth.Not All Ahadeeth Have The Same Value.Remember Some Are Authentic Called Sahih Some Are Unauthentic Called Zaeef and Some Go In Between Which Are Called Husn.Then Those Sahih and Zaeeh Ahadith Have Many Sub-Types.

So Before Quoting Ahadith It Is Always Important To Research The Background

Our Prophet SAW was as close to perfect a specimen of human being as one can ever be.

Hinduism can't be compared honestly with Islam. You can't compare superstition with a complete way of life.
