Travel advice in Europe

Not really, I went for a jog every morning along that stretch of the beach fully clothed.
No one really cares, besides some of my French uncles, aunts and cousins are fully nude
at home so nudity does not really bother me.
wow......i would be barfing in such situation..But then again...we are from different cultures..different standards.
I was shocked to see cartoons of naked men and women with full description of body parts in my son's school books when i moved to sweden...Had to move back to UK which is a lot more descent and conservative compared to the euro zone.

Back to the topic....
I been all over UK..and this country is quite boring..France looks a bit more fun..But as they say "Jitnaa gurh daloo utnaa meetha hogaa" .. Depends on how much money you can spend...
Never been to Barcelona..But been to Bilbao in North spain and Andalusia in the south...Cant remember much but it was ok...Post pics when you come back,or keep posting on the go.....Good luck

I went to Scheveningen last summer about thirty minutes from Amsterdam, we stayed at the Carlton Beach Hotel.
It is fun in the summer, a carnival atmosphere with lots of parties along the beach and good sea food.
There is a nudist beach near the hotel frequented by old people if that sort of thing turns you on :cheesy:

Goodness me DBC, of all the places why did you have to mention that damneddd beach . I still have nightmares about Den Haag when i was there 2 years ago; just a picture a 19 year old boy looking to creep on some Dutch Hotties, and when he gets there he finds old naked women :argh:. Better advice would have been Brunotti :P, atleast the poor guy wouldn't be scarred for life and would have an awesome time :partay:.

@Zaki. Your going to have an awesome time in Amsterdam, just stay away from the locals who look skechy whom are being over friendly and want to show you around.

There is a very good museum in Brussels, but I can't remember the name. Google it.

. .
Rembrandt and van Gogh museum. They have excellent canal trips aswell and you get a map too with them with all the attractions surrounding canal system. Next to the train station, there is a tourists office.
To eat: Turkish shoarma with pita or donner kebab (its not plastic rubber unlike other countries unless the standards have really dropped in last couple of years). Also try Friet Speciaal (Special fries with chopped onions with thick mayo and curry sauce).

Hmmmm why don't you just get a Amsterdam DK Eyewitness guide. I think it's available on iPhone too if you have one.

After my O Levels, at my graduation party i was given the award for being the most notorious one in my school , just keeping up the Aitchisonian pride. About the beach, unfortunately its true and i have been scarred for life .

Although on a serious note, besides the sight seeing, try to check out Brunotti and the Sugar Factory, if your there than might as well enjoy and check out the night life :P. Also bicycle throughout the city, trust me on a nice summer day, nothing beats that.

Well finally I am back home today!!!

Just reached home 20 minutes ago and it was a wonderful trip i must say.

Amsterdam - muaa muaa muaa - was much better than my expectations - I give it 12 out of 10 for exceeding my expecations

Brussels - slightly boring but ok for 24 hours stay. Couple of good places out there but if you prolong your stay you start getting bored - 7 out of 10

Barcelona - muaa muaa muaa - best city out of my trip. Enjoyed a lot --- far better than my expectations. Clean, beautiful and the weather is also beautiful. Best thing over there was girlsssss - the hottest girls on earth - 15 out of 10 for exceeding my expectations.

Paris - Well I have been there before may be thats why didn't like it much - it was good overall but i give it 7/10

You did come to Amsterdam with bad timing.:what: After weeks of beautiful sunny weather, fom today it's gonna be chilly with rain for a couple of days in Holland.

The forecast for the next five days:

Buienradar en weer Amsterdam. 14 daagse weersverwachting Amsterdam
lol true - you are right but I enjoyed a lot. It was raining over there but not much. One of the best architectural city + The canal tour was extremely beautiful.
