Still it was not my intention , I guess I choose wrong sentences ( unintentionally ) while expressing my thoughts, sorry for that ! I wanted to say that they intentionally spread such ideology that only create anarchy in Bangladesh .

I think that she's grossly exaggerating, the number shouldn't exceed 12 millions if we consider the Hindu and tribal exodus in the last 45 or so years. She is spot on about the burning and appropriation of enemy property though.

According to 1974 census, Hindus were 13.5 percent of Bangladesh's population. Now it is 10.7 percent. So it is 2.8 percentage point decline in 45 years. If this decline had not happened then there would be 4 million more Hindus in Bangladesh. This decline is mainly due to lower fertility rate among Hindus and mostly voluntary migration to India. Some gone due to violence I am not denying. But vast majority gone to India for better opportunity. Every Bangladeshi Hindus know, they are welcome in India to settle. Just narrate a story of persecution and you will be accepted as a citizen. There is a common pattern of Bangladeshi Hindus migrating to India. They usually take decision for many years. Mean time they start saving money, buy properties in India(mainly in WB), send their Children to Indian school, visit several times to India. Then one day finally make the decision to move there. This hardly sound they are running for their life. If anyone ask in India, why you have come here? just tell them, Muslims have persecuted me. All is fine. Your permanent residency and citizenship is guarranteed. So tell me why some Bangladeshi Hindus will not take this opportunity?

Many Bangladeshi Hindus have dream to settle in kolkata. It was even more true 20-30 years ago, when Kolkata was obviously a better choice economically to settle than any city in Bangladesh. Bangladeshi Hindus know, both Bangladesh and India are their country. Unlike Bangladesh or Pakistan who do not accept Indian muslim just for being muslim, India accept Bangladeshi hindus just for being Hindu. Now tell me why some Hindus from Bangladesh will not take this opportunity to settle in India? Preferably in a thriving city? Among his co-religionist as a majority community?

Back then, Assam was almost the entire north east and we didn't think of it much. The influx of Hindus continued till the early 2000s.

The Bengali Hindus of Assam are all of East Bengali origin, i have heard myself some of them claiming there ancestors were of Dhaka, Chittagong or Noakhali stock, they speak in a different dialect compared to the Bengali we hear on WB media. I must tell you that those Hindu Bengalis are staunch anti-Bangladeshis, and support BJP unequivocally. Perhaps they still feel aggrieved.

Main reason is, Muslims were better protected in West Bengal as they lived mostly in settlement with large Muslim majority pockets and they did not find East Pakistan to be a more lucrative destination than the more prosperous West Bengal. Now, many Hindus gone to India before 1971 due to riot, but you can not blame that on Bangladesh. Because the policy of then Pakistan govt. and independent Bangladesh is not the same. People's perception about minority then and after independence is not the same. You Indian seems to forget this distinction. It is like blaming current Germany for the crime of Nazi Germany, although Germany back then and now are not the same.

But you did inherit the East Pakistan government, didn't you? So you have to accept your share of the blame too, maybe all Bengalis didn't have an unfavorable opinion of the Hindus but your own people did that to the Hindus, the ones constituting the Badr, Jamat etc.

Secondly, being an Assamese i know the differences between the Sylhetis from say those of Dhaka, Chittagong etc. During independence, partition and the ensuing years it was the Hindu Sylhetis caught on the wrong end of the referendum who migrated to the Barak Valley, and they are concentrated there to this day. I am talking of the Hindu Bengalis in the Brahmaputra valley of Assam who came here during a prolonged period of persecution that extended long after the creation of Bangladesh. I didn't say anything untoward in the obituary thread of Ershad the other day, but his policies too were directly responsible for migration of Hindu Bengalis.

I think you know that a large number of Hindu Bangladeshis are excluded out of the NRC draft, that process has the cut off date of 1971. If the Hindu Bengalis all came to Assam prior to the creation of Bangladesh how come those peoples were unable to furnish citizenship documents. Give it a thought, friend.

The bottom line is, she is on Indian agency Raw's payroll. While India is going hard on its own minorities, it wanna minimize the situation by highlighting minority issues in neighboring countries. Yes, this govt. took down 37 million Hindus in the last 10 year, averaging 10137 Hindu per day. Everyday 10137 Hindus are disappearing from Bangladesh yet not a single investigative report in Zee News about this massive forced disappearance ever happened in the world. Shame on Sanghi media. Even they have abandoned the persecuted Hindus of Bangladesh.

It's very hard to make you understand, but no one is missing. If any minority was tortured by govt then it's under the 2001-2006 govt.

The reason was religious minority always support AL. However they ( that previous govt) paid their price for various crimes but that's not relevant here. I am not denying that no abused happened in other got time . Of course some abuse happened, but it's by some fanatic group and govt taken care of them.

Many Hindus willingly go to India. So I don't believe that any minority was missing only because they are not Muslim.

So? Bangladesh govt claim ( and few Indian source) that in 1971 you guys murdered 3 millions. Look 3 millions in 9 months is just 10000+ every day.

This Hindu woman now going viral in Bangladesh. She met with Donald Trump and complained that Bangladeshi Muslims have made to disappear 37 million Hindus, Buddhists and Christians with the explicit backing of the govt. !!

As I have suspected, this woman is one of the top leader of Hindu-Buddhist-Christian unity council. She lied in front of Trump that her house were destroyed, land were taken by Muslim extremist and she was forced to flee, but the truth is, her husband is a top govt. official in Bangladesh, her two daughters are now studying in USA. She is well connected to the many NGOs and govt. ministers in Bangladesh.
