In her police complaint, the woman claimed that her son has been missing alongwith his Bangladeshi wife since they left for Kolkata. The woman had come to India with her 11-year-old daughter and married the man as per Hindu rituals.
Moradabad: Amid prevailing mystery over Seema Haider case, a similar case incident come to light in Western Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, where a woman has claimed that her son was ‘taken away’ by a Bangladeshi woman to her country.
In her complaint to the local police, the woman, identified as Sunita, alleged that a woman from the neighbouring country came to India alongwith her 11-year-old daughter Halima and she stayed with them for almost three months before leaving.
The complainant said, the woman alleged the Bangladeshi woman, Julie, had also adopted Hinduism and married her son Ajay as per the Hindu rituals.
No idea how my son reached Bangladesh
Julie left Moradabad for Kolkata on the pretext of extending her visa. She took her daughter and also convinced Ajay to come alongwith her. According to Sunita, she got a call from her son and he told her that he was in Bangladesh and would return in 10-15 days. After some days, she got another call from Ajay asking for money. But the call got disconnected and then she received a photo of him covered in blood. He has been missing since then.
Woman appeals PM Modi for help
Woman has appealed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and police to bring back her son from Bangladesh. Moradabad SSP Hemraj Meena said that the woman has filed a police complaint and based on that, an investigation is being carried out. In her complaint, the woman has alleged that her son is being kept forcefully in Bangladesh. SSP Meena further said that the case has been handed over to the Intelligence team. We are trying to find out who was that woman and why did Ajay left with her. We will carry out the probe further based on the facts.
