LOL, You don't even read Chinese and you put this photo?? Do you know what they say. Safety construction code, so stupid...

I didn't post it, its from the Reuters special report. You can read it here and feel free to debunk it.

Today's Xinjiang enjoyes peace and prosperity with zero terrorism, highest GDP growth rate in whole China, tourism is booming, locals enjoy 15 years free education from kingdergarten to high school with free food , daily diary , accomodation and healthcare. Poor families enjoy free government built earthquake proof housings and welfare.

What India provides for their people?

Cities in Xinjiang now can beat any western cities in modernity with first class airports, subways, highways and high speed railyways, Xinjiang puts all western countries in shame, so we can understand their burning jealousy.

This is where you are wrong. Most Indians are admiring the chinese method of "re-education". If it has controlled terrorist activities then china should proudly explain its methods to the world, to learn and emulate.

LOL, one can smell commie propaganda a mile away dude.

What China is doing with its muslims is what it has done with its population. That's how you control dissidence and control vast population of people. No one's blaming China here. In fact, its astounding how China controls 1.4 billion people. What China does is one of the ways to grow rapidly and compete with its enemies. Kudos to the Chinese commies.

We all know the trouble between China and the west and how often they lied. There are tons of foreigners vlogs about Xinjaing on youtube, that's their first hand experience, if you are interested, go and check them out.

Well Chinese officials never said these "Muslim Gulags" were a lie, I don't know why guys here on PDF do.

In September, a Chinese official at the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva said the West could learn from his country’s program of vocational training. “If you do not say it’s the best way, maybe it’s the necessary way to deal with Islamic or religious extremism, because the West has failed in doing so,” said Li Xiaojun, the director of publicity at the Bureau of Human Rights Affairs of the State Council Information Office.

This is how such extremist ideologies should be dealt with. Every country should follow the Chinese lead and regulate Islam and Mosques. Heck the Chinese government have converted some of the unsanctioned mosques into bars and pubs. Imagine a mosque being converted in a pub!

Empty mosques
In Kashgar, the ancient Silk Road oasis town in Xinjiang’s southern Uighur heartland, locals say they live in fear. As security forces have blanketed the region and high-tech surveillance has become pervasive, there have been waves of mass detentions of Muslims in places like Kashgar.

The arrests peaked last year as police convoys with sirens blaring took people away, their heads covered in black hoods. In Kashgar, the locals say that many of those detained have not yet returned. On the streets, there are few young men to be seen.

“You can go to a Uighur and slap him in the face and he won’t dare retaliate,” said one Han Chinese local, who grew up with Uighurs in Kashgar and saw many of his friends taken away. “It’s going to be quiet for another one or two years, but then what? The greater the pressure, the fiercer the backlash.”

Mosques across Xinjiang are now adorned with Chinese flags and banners exhorting people to “Love the Party, Love the Country.” During Friday prayers, the mosques are almost empty.

The Chinese government has been trying to change the ethnic balance by shifting members of the majority Han Chinese into the region. That policy is reflected in other ways on the ground – such as the dramatic transformation of the Old Town section of Kashgar, once considered one of the best-preserved sites of traditional Islamic and Central Asian architecture in the region.

One mosque has been transformed into a trendy hookah lounge and bar serving shisha tobacco and alcohol. The interior of the “Dream of Kashgar 2018” has been renovated and freshly painted, except for the ceiling, where the original wood carvings and tapestries have been preserved.

How dumb and brainwashed a person can believe this lie, incredible..

I can post tons of recent Xinjiang videos here and let you see how people live there.

Chinese government always says that's a lie, do you know aht Gulag means?

Yeah they call it a "re-education camps" or "vocational training camps". But I just don't see the point of this whole smoke and mirror game. I mean, Islmaic countries around the world as it is are indebted to China in one way or the other and would dare not stick up for the Uyghur Muslims. The Chinese government can deal with them as they see fit.

Let me see who to believe, a netizen of a country which ranks the lowest as far as freedom of press goes or an international news agency. Tough one, this.

If you mean re education 学习班 and vocational training school 职业培训学校, they are everywhere in China, why Xinjaing's become this special?

Or you can believe the media telling your Iraq has WMD just because they wanted to start a war and kill people, it's up to your choice, and no one cares what Indians believe.

This issue will boil into Pakistan eventually, a lot of Pakistani men in North Pakistan were married to Uighur women, their wives have suddenly disappeared and those men are not happy(can't blame them imagine if your wife was kidnapped by government and put into a concentration camp). The silence from Pakistani government and establishment is funny because they get all emotional over Kashmir or Palestine yet not a word for Uighur people who are actually facing total extinction of their culture, language and religion.

Believe me , Uyghurs live much better life than Pakistanis.

You give China way too much credit.

Do the "vocational and re education" training schools in other parts of china come with electric fencing, watch towers and prison like perimeter walls?
