How is IK selling a watch he purchased (paying 50% of its worth) from Toshakhana illegal? It might not look good optically but not illegal. In hindsight he shouldn’t have done it. He sold it and used the proceeds to build roads around his residence.

The question should be for items purchased without paying the prescribed amount or buying cars which is outright illegal.

If you exclude the patwari spin, case isn't about purchasing/selling but it's claimed that it's declared in tax return but not in record submitted to ECP.
