400 million people in Pakistan, 730 million people in Nigeria, and 1.5 billion people in India? Sounds like severe overpopulation in these countries to me.

.
so in 80 years India adds only 7-8 crores vs Pakistan adding 20 crores :hitwall: Doesn't make sense!

ITS your tradition to have large famalies in pakistani familys

I see it in UK your average pakistani family is much larger than indian familys

Populations start to decline when they come of agricultural economy and mover to SERVICE economy

Population control is a must if poverty has to be addressed.

Right now Nigeria is beyond a basket case; if one can think they reach a low point, they dig another trench.

Thanks to women's empowerment, aggressive family planning model, accessible and free of cost education for girls, eradication of mullahs against birth control and a no questions asked dispensary system for condoms and other contraceptives Bangladesh has controlled its population growth.

All of this has only been possible because the moderate brand of Islam practiced in Bangladesh, not bordering other Islamic countries has its perks.

Now we need to ward of Saudi Arabia and their 'investments' which empower the wrong type of mullahs.

Our population will hit it's peak in 2050s at 190 million and then steeply decline to 150 million in 2100s before stabilising at 150 million range, very positive outlook.

A very small but important victory in the fight against poverty in Bangladesh.

Irrespective of which party has been/is in charge, the aim to stem population growth has remained unwavering, very refreshing to see in Bangladesh, which is a country where successive governments have a tradition of undoing all the measures taken by the previous government.

Pakistan's population will double and India's population will only have meager gains. That only means one thing - that Pakistan will have annexed some populated areas of india by 2100 :partay:

Countries like Niger, Nigeria and DRC won't probably hit the set targets and the reason isn't pretty.

btw anyone been to DRC? In my mind it's a universe on its own. Always wanted to go there.

I dont think india will be able to control the population that much. Pakistan seems fair enough.
What we r ignoring is this will be the population if there are no big wars(unlikely), pandemics or asteroid hits on earth.
