This news seems old. I had Mi4 since last year. It's an amazing phone. Good successor to Mi3.

What phone do you have at present?
Xiaomi have a very stable OS.
I just love xiaomi. But they don't make their own processor and chipset like Huawei.
Hopefully I can get my hands on a P9 this time.
I used my own money on a Xiaomi4.
I also have an iphone6 from my American relative.
Now I have 2 sim cards.

Does the above only count the domestic brands or the whole Chinese market?
I wonder if foreign brands have been included in the survey.

The quality of the local brands is growing fast. Coupled with innovation (just look at the number of patents), the Chinese brand will give run for their money to the so called global leaders.

First to be toast is Samsung. Then a huge chuck eaten out of the appel.

A local and global strategy of marketing and promotion will do the trick. Great going!

One Plus is a fantastic brand. Two of my students ordered the phone and allowed me to have a go. I was shocked at how it ran so smoothly, the features were well on par compared to the more expensive Samsung and Apple options and how it is reasonably priced.
The whole Chinese quality issue is complete BS.

I own a oneplus X, and it sucks. the camera is good. looks are awesome. But that's pretty much it. Battery sucks, hangs a lot, too slow to believe it have 3 GB RAM. Samsung phones, however awful looking they are and however slow they are to begin with, doesn't surprise you negatively. Samsung is mediocre, but reliable. Oneplus is all hoopla and very little real show.

But still, better than the all hype Iphones.

In my experience, Android based phones would turn worse after short time
