She puts it on her face.. "Her face".
Which happens to be her property in Pakistan and in USA.
Would you like someone to tell you to shave your beard or not to?

Well likewise if Ahmadis are banned in Pakistan..they have problem and you have problem..
Nobody says 'Their country their rules".
Stop being two faced as you are.

She is there as a student and the rules are the same for ALL students. Ahmadis are citizens of Pakistan just the same as anyone else, but are the laws the same for them?

It is you who needs to learn, not me.

.
Now you are changing your reason?
Its not about security its about hate,

You haven't seen hate until your local church or Ahmadyia mosque was ransacked by ordinary citizens.I think you catch my point. This is just arogance, claiming that a society should change its entire etiquette to acomodate you.No can do Scooby Do.

She too is a British Citizen by Birth?

She has left the school. She didn't adhere to the dress code, tough! It was her choice.

What I don't understand is that according to these women the face veil is meant to draw attention away from the woman, but wearing it in a Western country such as the UK you attract nothing but cold hard stares, negative glances and comments. It is actually easier not to wear it.

Agree with the school.. ! Face Veil in a school..! Looks too odd. Forget student teacher interactions, there wouldnt even be a student student interaction.!

She wants to cover it or want to this....Its her choice?

Come on yaar, dont turn blind eye towards what restrictions and criticism they are making to destroy all Muslim values

Yes, it is her face, but the school was not hers. An institution can & should have some set of rules upon which it was built, if one wants to be a part of that institution, then one has to follow the rules laid down by the institution. Otherwise, one should find an institution where the rules are in sync with his/her values.

Btw, there are institutions where you have to be clean shaven or you have to trim your beard in such a manner that deemed fit or decent by the institution's standard; like French-cut. You don't agree, you don't join, or you leave if you have joined already. Many companies from service industries like hotels & restaurants, flight crew, bankers, etc. can be examples of such institutions.

There is a difference in living in a officially islamic nation and a secular western nation.
Moreover its the school rules. Follow the rules. Simple as that.
Truth be told, many cannot interact freely with a person yu have never seen. Or they wont feel comfortable with.

We? Maybe India. In my state in my school, and coll, have seen the girls full cover (even my own friend ) their hair, but never their face .
Other NI states, I have no idea. But BD, though secular laws, is still a Islamic country right , officially/?

BD is officially Islamic country as much as India officially hindu country lol

Wrong timing to press for Islamic rights, especially in UK. They aren't exactly malleable right now and nor in the mood to support given the beheading and the terror threats and the mass child rapes.
