@Jacob Martin my friend this is one more piece that needs to be integerated in our dialouge regarding humanism. Just make a mental note as it will come into play when we would be entering the second phase of our dialouge.
@padamchen I believe your observation regarding mutually benefitial hate-industry is correct. This requires a bit more digging to find solid gold.
My dear Watson, as you can imagine one is coming out of this psychosis of darkness while the other is just in the early stage of
pseudologica fantastica.
You should know that what is concerning... it is the numbers, scope and scale... this should give the indication of the life-span of the ensuing psychosis which your nominal secularism kept in straightjacket... credit to your two instituitions. You know which one.
@scorpionx you, my good friend, would recall that we talked about a certain disblief that the two great regional powers have to this day. Such Aryan Invasion or OOI theories validate our discussion I guess.
The key here is not about being conservatie or liberal in socio-political orientation... Rather it is inate Humanism of a compassionate heart that is willing to see the other as human too... so, if the old man
@Joe Shearer goes to the Land of Indus and is hanging out with
@Kaptaan man's living ancient kin... it is good day for Practial Humanism. We all have to wait for the crafty professor's book to dig...if he spares the reader with his trademark wit and makes his
magnum opus accessable to mere mortals.
Great that he is back... along with
@hellfire ... at least now we can guage the actual senior indian thinking and views...sure helps to form practical understanding.
Regarding the thread's thesis... well... Civilisations have a tendency to mutate, transmute and transform... IVC has its polinating role... which is there without dispute. It only gets tricky when our Indian friends try to hijack Pak Heritage in the name of Hinduism which is a Pak export essentially.
Pak's being monotheists now... makes it easier. However, this is once agian was related to the dark psychosis in Pak based on religion as instruement. Happens. Pak is coming out of it now....will get there in a decade or so. India is just going in... so wait and see if anyone one of us is alive by then. Doubt it for us oldies...
What is a culture? Is it not but a collective Neurosis... played out in predictable patterns and shared habbits. Humans!
