Who will conduct that trail? Nuremberg was the winning party delivering what they labelled "justice". If that was not the case we would have seen as equal number of allies if not more charged of war crimes and destruction of the humanity by the same courts. He along with Bush are main culprits for this mayhem. For these guys because of military might accepting their war crimes is just a confession to gain sympathy and a publicity stunt but for others it is a matter of life and death. These guys are no different that blood thirsty tyrants.

Ousting Saddam Hussein was not a mistake, not ousting him in 1991 and letting him kill hundreds of thousands of more people until 2003, then invading and creating a power vacuum was a mistake. But it was not in their interests to topple him back then.

Had Saddam been toppled in 1991, we wouldn't see what are seeing today. But who cares? Who will try to punish Bush and Blair? Who will execute them for war crimes? No one, obviously.
