well from oyu side of boder a minority of kashmiris may wish to make an independent kashmir ... no one wants to join india .. from their side of border alot of people wants to join pakistan ... Kashmir is not a peace of land for us... We do it for the innocent mislims of kashmir ... Pakistanis need to be stop being delusional that they can conquer Kashmir on horseback against India. Best solution will be to accept LoC as a border. Or Maybe turn all of Pakistani and Indian administered Kashmir into an autonomous region with Kashmiris electing their own president and parliament, while India and Pakistan control the border and defence of Kashmir and collect taxes on behalf of an autonomous Kashmir.

How can it be the "Status Quo" ? .LoC currently is not the official International Border (IB) b/w India and Pakistan .

Recognizing the current ground positions and converting the LOC to a proper international border is the only feasible solution to this problem. Otherwise we are ready to wait it out till eternity. It can of course come with other frills such as easy movement for Kashmiris of both sides, autonomy for Kashmiris within the ambit of the Indian constitution, reduction of military presence etc but the the position of the current LOC is non negotiable.

India will also has to drop its claim on Gilgit-Baltistan region. The people there have no interest in joining India.

That is precisely the idea behind considering the LoC to be the de facto border. The claims remain claims, while the ground positions and realities remain the realities.

And even more beautiful (lol) is the fact that it even needs no reason to start and then keep fighting. Humans are peculiar animals after all.
