To counter OBOR, India pushes its own idea of connectivity to the world

OK No. 1 CPEC Is Meant To Serve Western and Central China(To Which Industries Have Started Relocating) Not East and No. 2 Would You Also Mind Telling The Distance Between Shanghai and Dubai via Sea Route and Then Make A Comparison?????Thirdly It Is A Rule Of The Thumb That Rail and Road Based Transport Is More Expensive Than Sea Transport and The Only Advantage They Have Is That They Save On Capital Cost In Inventory Which Is In Essence An Opportunity Cost and Not A Cash Flow.Distance Means Nothing Except In Very Special Circumstances

I knew you would ask this question, that's why I've provided you the link of ports.com, why don't you check that yourself ????

Just like you have explained the case of CPEC, in our case, multiple dry runs and feasibility studies conducted, not only by India alone but but ADB and others involved had clearly shown that we can easily reduce USD 2500 on every 15 Tons of cargo being shipped. Hope now at-least you understood the logic . :p:

Hello Mr. Genius, do you think you are the only smart one here ???? India had already done multiple dry-runs up and down from Moscow-to-Mumbai and vice versa and conducted countless number of feasibility study of the same. The result is we can save well over USD 2500 per 15 Tons of Cargo being transported, which is more than enough. I think we can still save a lot more if we get an overland transit via Pakistan, but NO, we are happy with what we would gain at present. :p:

If you could find some time between trolls, why don't you read the reports about the dry run and feasibility study (if you want):

http://commerce.nic.in/publications/INSTC_Dry_run_report_Final.pdf

http://www.railwaypro.com/wp/azerbaijan-complete-north-south-corridor-feasibility-study/

ADB may consider financing North-South corridor project

North-South corridor transportation tariffs may decrease

Before tying a long story of Troll, you should understand that the NSTC project was conceived and the first agreement about that signed way back in 2002, when you OBOR was not even on the paper. Modi and team are actually late in this party, the project is almost 70% complete. But I think you guy's will never notice that, just like Chabahar. LOL :sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:
good achivement 2002 and yet to be completed but next 30 percent will take anothrt 10-20 years an about chabahar great project wheat reached on time just say 11 days later lol. Its not about just reaching but to be cost effective not every country is like india to make their own country's people poor and feed other country to show how great they are. So when nato going to use chabahar :D.

Ok. Agreed, ours are all crap ideas, that's the reason why India fails everywhere and our nation as a whole is nosediving especially economy. Our policy makers are all stupid that they can't differentiate between our interests and loss. Happy now ???? :D:D:D

And I think the only chance for India to survive is if we join OBOR initiative, else we are doomed, right mate ???? :sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:

i never said idea is crap its just the outcome that turn out that crap that indians have to go backward and forward.to defend the outcome.

So According To Indians If CPEC Route Is Used By China Instead of Mallaca It Raises Costs Because It's All Land Route And Is Unviable But INSTC Lowers Costs What A Logic!!!!
If CPEC route is used by China, then its good for China and Pakistan. If not then it's still good for both.
Don't put words into my mouth and start to discuss some irrelevant agenda. OBOR is a big project, CPEC is only a part of it.

I didn't talk about profitability of CPEC in this thread. It's about INSTC and that alone, although the project has been given a boost in the light of OBOR as is given by the news. (Not because of CPEC vs INSTC as these two are not connected at any point)

India only exports 260 billion??? No wonder India is very poor. I won't be bragging if my country has over 1.3 billion people and only exports 260+ billion. China exports 2 trillion and US exports 1.4 trillion. Even little Taiwan exports over 300 billion. India exports only 260 billion and feel no shame and brag about it. No wonder India is going no where.

Where did I say India is rich? These trolls couldn't miss a chance to take a potshot at India.
Why not apply the same numbers on your buddy Pakistan, they have 200 million people, exports a staggering 20 billion.

Accepted India is poor. But you fail to apply your own logic in your trolls. USA has only 300 million people, yet they manage to export 1.4 trillion worth goods. While China could manage to export of only 2 trillion where nearly 1.4 billion people lives. Troll logic all the way.

Better introspect, who has been following shitty policies and crappy ideas and achieving worst results all through the 70 years of our history, you will understand for yourself. :p:

Do we have any other options ??? NO.Will Pakistan allow us an overland transit ??? NO.

So we are trying to manage and replace Pakistan 2nd biggest export destination. It's always a win for us, even if it comes at a cost. :p:

But what exactly Pakistan gained ??? Can you please care to enlighten ???? :p:

We wouldn't allow terrorist to come in our country and take advantage of our soil if that's what you asking BIG NO.

Yeah this is what you can say that you have an alternate route expensive one and risky one but that's all on you. We don't care and we don't want to care.

If you really don't care, then you should better cut the crap about cost effectiveness etc.like you've mentioned earlier; :p:

So, what do you think India's $260+ billion worth of exports are?

I have been living in Europe for donkey years. Apart from food consumables or cloths, I haven't come across any value added items that you lot make or export. You do not make anything extra ordinary which other countries in the region like Pakistan and Bangladesh are already not making/exporting.

You living in your pond might be living in your false bravado, which is understandable, but there is no "Made in India" brands worth while which needs the so called "trade route" being specifically made for you lot. Its a typical Indian vege f@rt , just to be a nuisance.

lol fact is fact.

True. And the fact is Pakistan do care about Chabahar and loss of Afghan market than anyone else in the region, yet pretend as if all is well. LOL :p:

Well we don't bother Pakistan for any of our connectivity projects. Then whatever we do, why the hell should any below average Pakistani be concerned about it ????? Our money, our projects, our wish. Who are you to say there is no need ????? :p:

Cute, however, when there is a strong itch in south block to somehow "encircle" Pakistan and pitch loud f@rts as an alternate to CPEC, then it does involve us and we do like to rub salt over our enemy open wound, or in this case, sore arse. :D
