I will DEFINITELY respond to this as there are some key things here:
1) So bolded line 1 from your response. You are agreeing that Mullah lied and that his lies are NOTHING compared to NS's lies. Ok, let's see. After you obviously know Mullah lied, is it ALLOWED in Islam a LIAR issue a FATWA? A religious clergy is a huge deal no matter what religion it is. Can a religious leader LIE and give ruling on sensitive religious matters? HELL NO!!
Next, add innocent's blood on this mullah's neck, the Policemen who got killed by his followers, the Police stations that got attacked and Property destroyed and burnt. You think all these CRIMES STILL allow him to be a religious leader and provide value to his FATWA's? His religion asks him to be a 100% honest person to be a religious leader. Otherwise he's out and he's clearly a liar as you agreed with me in the first line. NS on the other hand, is NOT a religious leader and his lies or no lies, mean nothing when it comes to the religion and FATWA. The entire argument collapses when a religious leader who gives Fatwa lies.
2) Mullah and IK called the COAS, he THEN called the Interior Minster letting him know that he got called. The interior minister than requested him to use his positive influence to facilitate talks. This isn't allowing the Military to "take over the talks and the decision making". This is JUST using your influence indirectly during the meeting these two idiots requested and letting them know to close shops of the government will get serious and we'd rather talk and resolve it.
To create confusion between the Military and the Government, these two, (over night before the COAS could meet the PM), these guys did crazy speeches to cause further confusion and to show that they had a "Deal" with the gov't, which wasn't true.
Then, the government clarified that the request to put in some good words or influence vs. owning the situation are entirely different and than the ISPR pretty much repeated what the government said. Where is the disconnect in all of this?
Both of your favorite leaders who are destroying your economy and trying to destabilize the entire country.......are wanting a Face Saving event or something. They've quit deadlines lol (what happened there????) and now they want to go home!
Now these are slightly better arguments, worth replying to.
1) First, let me clarify something:
I don't follow Qadri, neither do I support many of his actions. However, I currently am in favour of his argument against the government.
Secondly, no, Its not allowed in Islam for someone who lies to issue Fatwas. At the very least, he has done something against terrorism and I appreciate that, even if he is not the best of people. The "lies" you are referring to were basically exaggerations political leaders make when they are giving speeches. That is one of the reasons I don't support mixing religion and politics like this. Democracy, Religion and Capitalism at the same time make a bad combination.
"Blood on his hands": Politics in Pakistan are not neat and clean like in the US. You will not be able to find any leader in Pakistan who's followers have not done something wrong.
Which "entire argument" are you talking about? My only argument regarding this was that Qadri is not related to the Taliban. Your entire essay had nothing to do with the argument I put forward.
As for his Fatwa, it is a pretty good thing that religious leaders are doing something against terrorism, don't you think? Even if Qadri is bad, some of his teachings may inspire people against terrorism and extremism.

Press Release
No PR183/2014-ISPRDated: August 29, 2014
Rawalpindi - August 29, 2014:
Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif was asked by the government to play facilitative role for resolution of current impasse, in yesterday's meeting, at PM House.
Your interpretation of this statement is quite plausible. So lets just say Nawaz did not lie about this (even though he did), Ch.Nisar (interior minister) still lied about the ISPR statement being "approved" by them first, which was then rebutted by the ISPR.
So, PMLN still lied. If they were right all along, why try to cover a lie with another lie?
You mentioned a "deal". Please clarify, which "deal with the government" are you talking about.
I have told you countless times that the economy's destruction and instability was all because of the government, yet you keep repeating this over and over again like some parrot. It was Nawaz and co who blocked Pakistan in fear of the marches. The marches still continued. What happened? Instability? Destruction? No, just a bit of inconvenience for some people, nothing more. You make a good argument then make yourself look dumb and biased by repeating the same stuff again.
They haven't quit deadlines. They say they trust the Army chief and are giving him some time. No one is running or saving face.
