I hope he reminds the people in his speech that the leader is the shield of the people, as narrated in a hadees of the Prophet PBUH. They should fight behind him, not against him. Which of the past two democratically elected leaders fought so much in international forums for the rights of Muslims and the use of dialogue on behalf of interfaith harmony then the current PM.
