Time for sanctions against the USA

. .
lol,I said in 20 years, not after.now china is still poor,USA had better destroy us to prevent that now.

How much is your trade volume with United States, will that change in 20 years.:lol:

1973 OAPEC oil embargo on US anyone? Nobody went bankrupt, but US (and consequently Israel) had to do some changes.

Embargo on any strong economy or resource exporting nation is harming the Worlds economy. Does anyone think sabotaging Iran is helpful? But US with alies pushes it anyway.

I agree with Chinese-Dragon, that there shouldnt be sanctions on anybody, but US and co wont give up their ambitions, not anytime soon.

Its not 73 anymore.

. .
Well sanctions against Iran are Wrong every Country has right be make Bomb or what ever they do in their own Country:cheers:

Since the OPEC embargo in 1973, the American Dream never returns.

The American dream, where a young man gets out of high school, he either goes to college for free or takes a decent job (plentiful) and buys a car at the same time. He moves out of the house and rents a big apartment, that only cost 10% of his salary; he marries his high school sweetheart and have two kids immediately. He works two more years, while his wife stay at home to take care the household, and save enough for a down payment of a big house that cost less than $20,000. He works another 15 years, while buys a vocation home in between, and ready to retire with some savings, a big pension and healthcare coverage. His wife never work a single day in her life, there is no need to, and he never pays a single dime for his kids' tuition.

That was the American Dream! Alas the embargo took it all away. The cost of living shot up literally over night as my father told now it cost him over $2 to fill up his motorcycle where it used to cost him less than 40 cents.. Today a newly couple barely can afford a decent apartment if they are indeed both lucky enough to be working. Kids? perhaps in ten years.

since the World bank is in the US.....would that be like sanctioning world bank?....US is one of china's largerst trading partners....so if they sanction china who are they gonna trade with?

a lot of people with no economic sense roaming around......unless the US suddenly turns out to become the poorest country-like somalia , sanctioning them will onle result in a financial loss for everyone.....

.
What? Refuse to ship lead-painted toys and poison dog-food? Oh no!

Look around, everything that is manufactured has something to do with China.

The USA has the largest trade deficit in the world, and most of it is to China.

You think the USA is keeping their deficit (and therefore debt) high on purpose? If they could have done something, they would have done it already.

.
All of the civilized world must unite to sanction the sole source of the most disgusting form of evil in the world today. Imposing sanctions on them for their unspeakable atrocities of the past and present would be a very minor punishment.

.
Go right ahead.

A sanction regime is a VOLUNTARY endeavor, meaning the proposal must be voluntarily accepted by members of a club and all members must honor the agreement even if it cost them economically. You guys can start by boycotting/sanctioning Israeli medicines, as in not buying them at all. Once that is successful, you can talk about sanctioning the economic engine of the world -- US.

Done that.

Next?

Carrier Battle group. Checkmate!

To sanction, you need large consumer market, developed financial markets and international currency. Because you need something the US or someone else wants from you and you deny that to them via sanctions.

Did gambit say US is number 1 economic engine of the world?

Not after the 2008 crisis it has not been. China has been the number 1 economic engine for the world with our demand for energy, agriculture, raw materials, consumer goods and services.

I guess you have not heard of our DF-21D Carrier Killer ballistic missiles.

Producing missiles is cheap. Losing ships and naval personnel is not. Who wants to trade cheap missiles for ships and personnel?

Like I said, if they could have, they would have. They already tried fighting against China in the 1950 Korean war. The USA + 16 of her allies were forced to retreat entirely out of North Korea, and were kept out for the next half century.

Nowadays, America even refuses to officially designate us as currency manipulators. Because then they would be forced to sanction us, and hurt their own economy in the process.

Regardless of how many millions of American jobs are lost, the US treasury consistently refuses to take any action against it.
