Time For Pakistan To Exit War On Terror

You need solid evidence to prove that someone committed a crime, otherwise you can't bring anyone to justice! This is how democracy and its foundation work, innocent until proven guilty!

You can't just accuse someone of being guilty because you feel they are, court systems don't work on emotions or feelings!

The Americans had a better chance of bringing Osama to justice had they accepted the Taliban's deal to hand over Osama to a third country where he could have been given a fair trial because the American didn't trust the Taliban's religious court systems!

the TTP came into existence after Pakistan army began to launch operations in the Waziristan on the behest of the Americans who kept pressuring Pakistan's gov of that time, Americans were threatening to launch their own spec ops operations into Pakistani territory if our army didn't do it first therefore we were forced to kill our own people, that operation was a complete failure on our part as we failed to achieve any of our objectives, lost a lot of our soldiers and Taliban gained more strength!

BTW, TTP's founder Abdullah Mehsud was a Taliban fighter captured by the American during the first days of the invasion of Afghanistan, he was sent to Guantanamo bay and stayed there for three years until he was released for an unknown reason and sent back to Pakistan's tribal region with a large amount of money and weapons where he began to launch series of deadly attacks against the Pakistani government and armed forces.

You seriously think Osama bin laden is innocent till trial. Do go on about the technicality of things it won't make a difference when common sense is used. The fact is there are terrorists in Pakistan. Right now as we speak. They are not there to kill Pakistanis because the U.S. is in Afghanistan and stop trying to distinguish between the AT and the TTP both are the same.

common sense? more like failure! you think killing more than 1 million innocent people in 2 wars is common sense when this whole mess could have been avoided had they accepted that deal with the Taliban? And last i checked, instead of defeating the Taliban America and her allies have only made them more stronger than before, so far America hasn't achieved any of her goals in this war! And you call this common sense, i pity the likes of you!

The TTP have always made a point that Pakistan must be neutral in the WOT otherwise they will continue to attack! That is their motivation! As i said before America has enough resources to fight, we don't! But you can continue with your nonsensical rants, i'm done here!

LOL yeah right, and you believe them? These vermins need to be wiped out
if the war stops than another benazir bhutto will die, you guys have lost the most dynamicminister you ever had and hundreds of your countrymen, the world will see this as an act of cowardice:no:

.
but didn't you say that the Taliban didn't offer up Osama who was responsible for killing 3,000 innocent people? And that this was the reason why they invaded Afghanistan, to capture Osama?

Purpose was more then just to capture Osama but to take out the Taliban that aided and support Obama and Alkida

Yeah sure.. You will talk with taliban and agree to live under their inhumane regime... just like what the Afghanis had tasted during brief Taliban rule. Great thinking..

It is this kind of mentality why Pakistan's struggle to nutralize the demons is tough. If one does not believe in something and feels that he/ she is being made to the a job inspite of their reservation, how can the job is expected to be done properly.

I just hope that this is not the general sentiment of all Pakistanis.

Get wise. And try to understand western propaganda. if you think that taliban inhumane regime than why were US supporting them at that time. US got its own stragtic goals in Afghamistan which they fail to achive.

tch tch. foolish.

this is a war of attrition, b/w pakistan and the US against the taliban

pak-US can not beat taliban with force alone.
they will have to come up with a parallel ideology

are they good enough?
lets see.

to defeat the taliban, they'll need more than 70 years, taken into account the number of casualties on both sides i think taliban can hold on for 70 more years.

what about pakistan and US, can both of them withstand the war for seventy more years? would they run out of man power? would the taliban run of man power sooner?

i wish i had some reliable stats with me.

rate of life loss of military forces pakistan+US
rate of life loss of taliban

approximate rate of regeneration of *effective* man power of pakistan+US

approximate rate of regeneration of *effective* man power of islamist elements

rate of deterioration of GDP and GNP of pakistan and US
lol theres not GDP or GNP for talibs, lets cookup a new term for that, hmn... GTP ( gross taliban product )

so if we have this data, we can calculate the approximate outcome of this war with a +- factor of 15 years

but one thing left to say.
these calculations do not confirm to trends known in history
its just for fun, this kind of estimate would be useless regarding the on-the-ground situation
