J-10C
J-11B
J-20

WS-10 engine has been in actual use for 10 years(since 2009) and so it has matured now.
The 140 kN thrust of the WS-10B is also excellent and very competitive with Western 4th gen engines, although it would not have the same lifespan.

You can order J-10CE with Conformal Tank version too in order to attack strategic targets deep in indian territory, but it depends on your pocket and decision.

Pakistan got a special waiver for the Russian engine for JF-17.
China made a deal with Pakistan for some 36 J-10As back in the mid-2000s but that got nowhere. Maybe the Russians refused to provide the engines.

Ookkaayy Buddy. You need tune down nationalism.

J-10 was rejected because we have already F-16s. India won't go all berserk on Bangladesh. The same condition you are applying to Bangladesh can be applied to Pakistan. We are holding down India due to clever combination of assets like AWACS,SOJ and ground units etc.

Regarding JF-17 it is a light weight fighter plane. If Bangladesh requires they may consider it then.

I reckon any significant jump in lifespan will only be possible for next gen platform. Now that they’ve got a hang of this, let’s see

J10 still should be the second line fighters for BD. Work with china get techincally set up to overhaul and change engines. J10 should be the fighter in numbers in the high low mix.

tbh, that's the only fighter bangladesh can effectively afford in large quantities... otherwise you're still looking at 12 EFT at most for next 30 years and 1 squadron of f7 replaced at a time

All this talk of BD wont consider JF17 is nonsense. If it fits BAFs purpose it will be bought. There is active and close relationship between the two countries military that transcends petty political nonsense.

12 EFT represents a good basis to counter raffle. Add AD SAMs in the mix along with J10 and BAF effectively secures BD skies.

We will never have to face IAF full arsenal. Any potential conflict will be short as the economic damage to india and BD would be too high. Its in neither countries interest.

Bangladesh first needs to decide whether they want to live with dignity and honor or not, and if answer is yes than it's time they increase their Air Force in a massive way. 100 J 10 CE should be the starting point.


They are already coercing you and killing Bangladeshis pretty much on daily bases on border.

Bangladeshis are not people who will eat grass but will develop their military. Bangladesh needs to build their armed forces in a way which will enable them to defend its sovereignty and it's land that's it. Unlike some country, Bangladeshis should not fantasize about becoming world's 5th or 10th largest military which would put the growing economy at stake.

Also war with India will never happen. Although India have provocated Bangladesh numerous times, there have never been any warlike situation between the two neighbouring states. Bangladesh's military enemy is Myanmar so in future Bangladesh may fight a war with Myanmar.
