US will not go to war with Iran since it has no objective in such a war. What will it achieve? Regime change? US is not seeking regime change in Iran. Nor will it want to occupy Iran or parts of it. It is going to continue sanctions to keep them at a limit. US will not go to war with any country in the region anytime soon.

Well they sure need a change. Libya was just fine before, Iran in the other hand needs a chance to prosper and become a good ally.

Iran said it will close the Hormuz IF it is attacked by U.S or any client state. Get your facts right instead of twisting the reality. We didn't back down from something we didn't promise. We were not attacked, hence the strait remained open.
