If you don't know the difference between Goverment and citizens, I don't thing replyngto you will be fruitful...

Of cource I would but I can easily say that most of the Turks would just curse you I have three Jewish friend here in Cyprus, even after flotilla inident I still am friends with them. They still think that Turkish goverment should fore the activist to cancel their journey and I still think that Turkish goverment did the right thing by letting them have their social rights.- I am pretty sure that goverment was not that interested in social rights- I was at the protest against Hrant Dinks murder, I attended protests for Kurdish peoples rights... Criticism open minds to new ideas.

I wasn't compering China with India. I was commenting that people are compering India, a country which has worst living conditions than even Africa. It is ridiculus. It is like than compering Norway with Turkey...

I didn't say Armenian Genocide was fake. God, did you read my post... I said that numbers don't macth with the Armenians that were living in Ottoman Empire. In 1910 cencus there was around 600.000 Armenians in Ottoman Empire. I said that it was not just the Ottomans killing innocent Armenians, things were done by both sides. Please search Tashnag, Armenakan, Hinchak.

I didn't compere Turkey with China, I said we opressed Kurdish people and look where it got us... When I was saying ''Turkey's gpd per capita was around 3.500$ we didn't have work camps like these.'' I meant Turkey could manege to increase her GPD per capita by nearly 3 times and goverment didn't use any work ethics like these. I am pretty sure that with population like China and with her natural resources China's economy could grow on much greater rate and I am shocked that why won't Chinese people organize huge protest against these kind of policies. I really have no idea. Difference of culture I guess.

A look inside the Foxconn suicide factory - Telegraph

1 Million Workers. 90 Million iPhones. 17 Suicides. Who’s to Blame? | Magazine

And the source about the 31cent and 35 hours of work was Msnbc if it was some unreliable source I wouldn't even put here. 20 Chinese universities to compile a report on Foxconn, which they decried as a labour camp. My resoures was these...

If they are wrong and I gave faulse information I have nothing against to apoligise for it... Msnbc said their source was indipendent and I assumed this was a worker who didn't want to be filmed which propably is.

Don't mistake me as someone who wants to bash China, I have no problem with singing prises to China's economical succeses as long as I critisize their wrong doings-from my point of view-

first of all, MSNBC said one year earlier that the shifts were 12 hours. They're changing their story

The man who makes your iPhone - Business - US business - Bloomberg Businessweek - msnbc.com

"Li Caihe, a 19-year-old from Gansu province, works a 12-hour shift"

As for workers not wanting to be filmed, this is not probably, as the MSNBC article clearly states:

"More than two dozen Foxconn employees were interviewed; none showed signs of being afraid to speak freely to a reporter. Those interviewed on the job did so without a supervisor present. Other discussions took place in Internet cafés, staff dormitories, and in the company canteen. Most seem keenly aware of their choices. They work at Foxconn because they want to make money as quickly as possible."

Also, you assume that Chinese workers would accept 35 hour shifts at 31 cents per hour. Even if people wanted to, they couldn't. Slave drivers can't even make their slaves work for 35 hours in a row because the human body just can't work that long.

Li Xiaofeng, a 20-year-old from a farm in Hunan province, joined Foxconn in May 2009 to work on an HP color printer assembly line at the Longhua campus. Her generation, she says, is far less accepting of long hours, low pay, and verbally abusive managers. "Youth, especially those born after 1990, have a lot more enthusiasm and passion but are easily depressed once they meet obstacles," explains Li. "We are less able to endure suffering."

Finally, just a few days ago, a factory's workers shut down the entire plant, making it lose 100 million dollars per day, for reducing their holiday BONUS. That's right, not low regular wages, just for reducing, not eliminating, their BONUS.

.
Perhaps get a reality check how many friends India has and how many china has.

haha,I looked around and found India is surrounded by hotile countries and looked inside India, found dozens of military insurgent groups...so..

.
Now support for PKK droped to a point that they are not even supported by Kurdish people in Turkey. BDP is polical arm of PKK and itgets around 1 million vote, half of them does't support PKK. So from more than 8.5 million Kurd, only 500.000 of them support PKK. So we are about to overcome our terror problem. I wonder if China would ever let a party like BDP survive? China would have arrest and execute everyone of these people. What we do is called democracy and to be bluntly honest We are more than several decades ahead of China in human rights and freedom.

For overall we are better then China in these issues you talkedabout expect accepting Armenian Genocide. Which are numbers are wrong. There were around 600.000 Armenian lived in 1910, how can Ottomans killed 1.5 million people unless they cloned them... First of the massaceres started by Armenians when Russian army invaded Northeast of Anatolia.
Turkey was a military autocratic government until 2009. You killed 100 million Armenians, Kurds and Greeks. Today, your country is full of ethnic violence, gang violence and street violence. You guys are about as "democratic" as Bulgaria and Romania.

EU doesn't want to touch you with an ugly stick.

China is far more peaceful and far more advanced technologically. We are already the second biggest economy in the world. If we want to, we could arm PKK with nuclear weapons and liberate Constantinpol from occupation.

China can do anything in the world and would be spared? Ever thought why china hasn't done anything to anyone yet despite having numbers of troubles and disputes with many countries? Simply because it will be ****Ed from all sides then.
Hahahaha who is going to do that? india? PLA already killed a bunch of your indo-Tibetan border guards a few months ago. You want us to bomb Punjab state into ashes too? We would turn your most important cultural sites into ashes. And Punjab state would return to Punjab province, its rightful owners. You people can go live in Tamil Nadu.

Rofl most of you do?well if religion and region didn't occupy the first place in the priority list of most pakis you would not have been in this state.

haha, what stops from taking Aksai Chin?what are both just waiting for the best time to take actions.we will fight it out one day.

.
Haha Noobhead you crossed the limits of ignorance Lmao if china can do it what are you waiting for?? You know that you ll be turned to nuclear waste not alone by India but many others who are equally powerful and your enemy ;)
Half of my family lives in Punjab and you are telling me who are the owners of the land? Not your mistake...when you have to read govt controlled newspapers and with no freedom you cant get to know what's going outside.
Come to punajb,Indian Punjab that is and see the reality.
If you claim Arunachal pradesh aka south tibet what's stopping you from taking it?
The steel balls got smashed

if India attacks China, China may suffer a few setbacks, but India will cease to exist. That is not a threat but a fact.

.
Why do threads like this always end up with India v China and the subsequent result over excitement resulting in pinkies?
People attack a police station with clubs - result is the full wrath of the law. I would expect the same anywhere in any land.

Indians, especially in this forum, they worship western media like BBC CNN as their God.
They believe whatever the west says about China and try to insult China with those distorted reports.
How much do you guys never been to China know about Tibet? You guys got only what the west and DalaiLama want to show you.
They describe Tibet as a hell under CCP's brutal rule, they say the Tibetan people want freedom, blabla all are "they say" but not the
common Tibetan people live in Tibet. Those lamas who set themselves fire are abetted by DalaiLam. Why dosent he set himself fire?

.
Disgusting hans at it again just no shame for the poor tibet people
Poor Tibet people?
If you have the chance to visit Tibet you will know that most Tibet people own a far better life standard than most Indians

I assumed people would accept that payment because, in Turkey minumum wage is around 440$ but some people accept even 250-300$ payment. Even in europa there are factories and camponies that pay less than minumun wage. But from the links you gave me, Msnbc propably made up the story from ''independent source'' either to make a interesting story or to belittle China...

But when I saw the nets around the bulding to catch the jumpers... İt wasn't just not... right. I am happy that peoples living conditions are getting better and I hope it will stay that way. I apoligise for giving wrong source.

Insulting a nation? Reported...

The reason people don't accept less than minimum wage is 3 fold:

1. more young people have the opportunity to go to college now.

2. being a waiter or garbageman is competitive with being a factory worker, while being much less stressful (5 day weeks, 8 hour workdays), and China will always need waiters and garbagemen.

3. nets are there to prevent the company from being sued due to suicides. if they didn't care about their labor force, then why install nets? just let them die and get a new one.

Also, MSNBC changed its own story; last year, when the Foxconn suicides actually broke out, they ran lots of stories on this and interviewed workers. Now one year later, they repeat the story, but change it to make China look worse.

Increasing violence between Chinese security forces and Tibetan protesters is raising alarm, just weeks before China's vice president is scheduled to visit the United States. The Tibetan exile administration based in India is calling for international intervention.

The United States says it is "gravely concerned" about reports of violence against Tibetans in China's Sichuan province. A Tibetan activist group says two more Tibetan protesters were killed Wednesday when security forces fired into a crowd, raising this week's death toll to at least four. Dozens of others were reportedly wounded.

Official Chinese media confirmed one killing Wednesday, saying security forces had no choice but to use force against "rioters" who threatened them.

In Dharamsala, the northern Indian town that has been the de facto capital of Tibetan exiles for more than half a century, Tibetan Buddhist monks offered prayers for those killed.

The memorial was organized by the Tibetan exile administration, which is hosted by India and led by Lobsang Sangay, the Tibetan government in exile's recently-inaugurated prime minister. Lobsang is urging the international community to pressure China to stop the violence.

At least 16 Tibetans have burned themselves to death over the past year to protest what they see as a systematic campaign to eradicate their traditional Buddhist culture and the flood of Chinese into areas of Tibet controlled by Beijing.

Karma Choephel is a former speaker of the Tibetan parliament in exile.

"We have been all the time saying that because of the oppressive policies of the Chinese government on the Tibetan people, where the people are discriminated very much from the Han Chinese and the local Tibetan people, so, people are very much dissatisfied with the policies and therefore, this is going on," said Choephel.

Protesters in and out of Tibet are demanding that China grant the region autonomy and permit the return of the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader. The Dalai Lama crossed into India in 1959 after a failed uprising against Chinese military rule, and he was followed by tens of thousands of supporters. China views him as a separatist leader, and refers to Tibetans who have self-immolated in protest as "terrorists."

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping, who is widely expected to take over China's leadership later this year, is due to visit Washington next month. U.S. officials say they will convey their concerns about Beijing's policies in Tibet.
