Confucianism is a teaching, not a religion, the Chinese culture or east Asian culutre to a larger extent was built around Confucianism.

Its a self-evident fact that Confucianism and Taoism are native to China, Islam and Christinity are foreign to China, but the practiced Islam in China has been much sinicized. Do we have to say more that is very obvious ? By the way, Confucianism is not considered a religion, but an ethics philosophy of human relations and society.

It's not a religion, you don't see Confucianism priests or something like that, it's a teaching which the east Asian culture is based on,it's like promoting east Asian cultures, why you can't differentiate a religon and a traditional teaching? Confuciu schools are for getting to know the Chinese culture, like Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting , Chinese musical instruments playing, Chinese mind games like Chinese chess and Weiqi....they have nothing to do with any religions. Confucius schools are just cultural exchange centers
