Guys, just learned from highly reliable sources that the JF-17 Thunder will be participating in the Paris Air Show this year. The show which starts early in June will include Three aircraft. Two will be on static display while the third will perform the air display. From Paris the JF-17s will travel to Turkey to participate in the air show there. While in Turkey, the JF-17s will also be joined by two PAF F-16s, one of which will also perform the aerial aerobatics. :pakistan:

. . . . . .
congrats!participation in airshows will generate customers!.by the by,will the plans to open production line in egypt be stoped due to the
Recent revolution?

. .
well thanx any way windjammer but the thing is, we also heard about same kind of combination of aerial display and ground display for Farnborough air show 2010 and it turned out to be a ground display only.
* Turkey will reveal PAF's first F-16 AM/BM in the air show.

. .
so france will be jft's first western performance!

we'll get some nice videos from there! hope the pilots add some more menouvers to there chinese airshow ones -- maybe some complete loops , some 'wild' stunts instead of all strictly controlled within limits ones , would be a nice marketing strategy

The schedule for Farnborough was very tight, the PAF crew never had any time for any rehearsals hence it was decided for the Thunder to remain on statistic display. But as we all know, Paris Air show is a different ball game.

the pilots have to follow the guidelines because it is a public display and precautions are necessary. check out the air crashes during such shows and you will understand why some limits are necessary. Safety is of paramount importance when these planes are flying over populated area.

The other important things is. while showing off something is good for the sake of showing off but it is also good to keep few things under wraps for the sake of keeping few secrets.

the Chinese display was very good and as good as the ones performed by Hornet, F-16. and the Typhoon was not as impressive as I thought it might be.
I hope you are not expecting it to perform manoeuvres that involve thrust vectoring. Repeating what was done in China will be good enough. I hope there is no heavy overcast and fog that almost killed the flight display in China.

By the way if anyone is planning to visit Paris for that show then PM me.. we should meet up this time.

I regret not meeting up anyone at Farnborough air show last year.
