Thunder In Paris

i want jft to perform atleast good enough as gripen , ofcourse im not expecting cobra menouvers etc --however, a couple of new menouvers can be studied from past ''demonstration airshows'' and added , i didnt mention dangerous menouvers -- we continously say jft is far more menouverable than block15s , so lets show it to the world

Guys, just learned from highly reliable sources that the JF-17 Thunder will be participating in the Paris Air Show this year. The show which starts early in June will include Three aircraft. Two will be on static display while the third will perform the air display. From Paris the JF-17s will travel to Turkey to participate in the air show there. While in Turkey, the JF-17s will also be joined by two PAF F-16s, one of which will also perform the aerial aerobatics. :pakistan:

Paris Le Bourget: between 21 and 23 June 2011
Turkey airshow : 4 and 5 June 2011

Where did I miss the clue?

Besides that it was already published on Pakdef that there will be K8, F16 and JF17 in Turkey.

^ wow......here's comes the first problem :woot:
thats why, there should be a reference link with the news, AT LEAST :agree:

I think you are missing the writing between the lines,
Dragging then beating and vice versa ends up in the same condition. Perhaps the gentleman who informed me got it mixed up with the formers and latter. And I certainly haven't come across any schedules on the forum.
BTW, sarcasm has very few friends.

. . . .
the pilots have to follow the guidelines because it is a public display and precautions are necessary. check out the air crashes during such shows and you will understand why some limits are necessary. Safety is of paramount importance when these planes are flying over populated area.

The other important things is. while showing off something is good for the sake of showing off but it is also good to keep few things under wraps for the sake of keeping few secrets.

the Chinese display was very good and as good as the ones performed by Hornet, F-16. and the Typhoon was not as impressive as I thought it might be.
I hope you are not expecting it to perform manoeuvres that involve thrust vectoring. Repeating what was done in China will be good enough. I hope there is no heavy overcast and fog that almost killed the flight display in China.

By the way if anyone is planning to visit Paris for that show then PM me.. we should meet up this time.

I regret not meeting up anyone at Farnborough air show last year.

you will go to paris jjust to watch the performance or any official visit?

So till we get something on the Paris Show site.. there is nothing on the Thunder being in Paris..
just somewhere close to Ankara perhaps.
Although being in Turkey ... there isnt anything that stops them from taking the short hop to Paris..

Sarcasm? You posted f16 block 52 plane with the comment that backseater had JHMS. Now you mixed up dates. I have read some more. That is not even sarcasm. That is plain wrong info. And friends? I am not going into personal relationship. ;) If you want to collect thanks then just ask me. I have no problem clicking a few times on thanks. Even if it wrong info. If that makes you happy, why not.

Anxiously waiting for Thunder roaring over paris :pakistan::china::pakistan::china:

Alan Warnes has just returned after spending a fortnight in Pakistan, he actually disclosed the information and gave me permission of posting the news, hence the number present etc.
On a side note, he is working on the JF-17 supplement to come out at about the same time.
