The victim of the beef ban is primarily muslim. His basic right to eat what he pleases has been taken from him. If beef is banned pork should be too but India was always made to satisfy a certain breed of fanatical hindus. Glad I have no belief in a united India.

This led to the heated arguments between Marvin and the locals. This could be the reason behind the attack, T.R. Suresh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) said adding that efforts are on to nab the attackers .

I don't eat beef but I cant tolerate someone else will decide what I should eat.specially when we do a lot of chest thumping about biggest Democratic country in the world! BJP came to power in Maharashtra and they implemented a very controversial beef ban....Its so difficult to accept such moves, a law that will put you behind bars for 3 yrs if u r in possession of a meat which is considered as beef! Such laws will only lead to harassment of minority people and lynching incidents like in dadri !.. I am an ordinary man who cant threat or blackmail politically influential people but I can use my right to vote them out until my right is revoked !

Let me give you an example of my province here in KpK province of Pakistan we few years back voted for religious parties' alliance just because we were not satisfied with performance of other political parties that had ruled in KpK previously.

But instead of working for progress this religious alliance started imposing their version of religious practices on us so we KICKED them in next election and now it is a firm stand of the people of the province that these mullas wont find any rule in KPK in coming many decades

You might tolerate but many will not,why should we compromise? when this nation was partitioned based on religion,the muslims had the chance to go to Pakistan,they decided to live with Hindus who revere the cow,thereby they accepted our values and now they want us to change for them? it cannot be done.because Cow slaughter is banned by Constitution.They should have raised their objections then or gone to Pakistan where they can eat whatever beef they want.

1. Yes you need to be taught democracy by Islamic Republic of Pakistan at least when there is a rule of Hindu extremists in India who are violating Constitution and allowing killing people over eating beef.

2. Yes Indian constitution that had included an article for banning slaughter of animals including cows on basis of economic reasons but soon after Hindu religious extremists made tempered it on religious lines.

So basically there is need to re-write/change Indian constitution to cleans it from religious discrimination against minorities in India
