Featured Three Nigerian JF-17 Almost Ready For Delivery From PAC

Four?? I thought they ordered only three and the fact that four are known is explained by a change in numbering system!

If the Nigerians are really that bad at maintenance, then send in PAF/PAC contractors and MAKE MONEY BABY.
That's what the Gora does sells good gear at exorbitant prices and also charges for maintenance (in habibis case even makes money by sending training contractors. There's job posting for C130, AH64, F15, F16, F18 blackhawks etc etc instructors all the time. From what I heard it's good money).
BTW did they say anything about extending the order book to 40?

at least by my understanding NAF-702 has been renumbered to NAF-722
you may be right but i find it difficult to believe as their is no reason to change serial # during production

PAC/PAF is doing the same though initial contract is for 1 year only

Agreed, but even less a reason to have such a huge break of numbers within 02 to 20

PAC was producing dual seat variant so might be possible explanation

Jingoism doesn’t suit your narrative - yes the Nigerians were/are a pretty corrupt bunch giving us competition in that department, but that doesn’t mean they cannot improve their standards under the right guidance.

Calling a spade a spade friend.

Corruption... they are totally different level. Right guidance? When british training or even detailed chinese training could not keep their birds up when compared to Namibian who can manage to keep J7s still up without much support.
Maybe if you studied the Nigerian AF a bit more and look at the great job they have done recently putting a lot of out of service planes back in the air than it may give you some lessons on how South Africa can try and regain much of the capability lost of poor serviceability of the Gripen fleet.
Let us see.
Our issue here is stupidity of the politicians and lining of their own pockets. Until ANC is thrown out the rot will get worse.

I mean, to be fair, the British and Chinese aren't in the business of morally uplifting others. Whatever floats their interests, they'll sail it into the sun.

Whatever the reason, the Chinese have done more for Pakistan than ANY other country has done for another nation. For that, I'm grateful to China and the Chinese. :pakistan: :china::pakistan::china::pakistan::china::pakistan::china::pakistan::china::pakistan::china::pakistan:

Nigeria is the doorstep to the huge african defence market. Nigeria alone has a requirement for 24-40 Thunders over the next decade. Take into consideration other African nations and its a huge potential for us.

I do concur; unfortunately Bilal; you dont know Nigerians - an anomaly to human kinds. This is the same country that cannot even produce tomato puree; they import it - yet thousands of tonnes of tomatoes rots annually. Because poor farmers cannot transport and have to pay highly corrupt police and government mafia.
If PAC was diligent - get a 5 year service contract to the planes going plus take up the F-7s maintenance.
