Three heavies endorse Sri Lanka

The only vote that matters is India's... If India votes in support of the resolution, then most of the countries will vote with India...Srilankans know that ...that is why most of Srilankan ministers are travelling to and fro to india...

And since when Pakistan become a heavyweight..It cant even get US to stop its drone attacks...Even Bangladesh has more power than Pakistan in international diplomacy....

India is irrelevant in this world. India is the only Asian country voting with the US. White worshippers tend to do that. Just proves India is fully under American colonial rule. Indian foreign policy is controlled by Washington DC.

.
That's correct, Mr Pleasantly Plump.

All LTTE are Tamils but not all Tamils are LTTE.

Their enemy they were fighting was LTTE. It's in their right to protect their nation, just like its your right to fight naxals, bodo seperatist, ULFA etc.
Thanks for the differentiation. Please add Kashmiri separatists to the list.

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

There's a difference between those who are terrorists versus those who are freedom fighters

Refer to UN literature to learn the differences
I think I just made a point about your duplicity and probably also how it gathers into Pakistan's selective sympathy to human rights issues all over the world.
Before throwing the UN at people read how the Kashmiri ****** groups engaged in atrocities.
If you apply your own principles, you will find that LTTE is also a freedom fighting organization. UN does not define a freedom fighter. So you cannot preclude LTTE from being a freedom fighter(In fact they are, because LTTE was formed for Eelam).
Your logic stinks of hypocrisy. Get it checked.

Wars a terrible, destructive thing dear. Breakdown of civility and last resort

LTTE Air Force was dropping grenades and makeshift bombs over cities.
Please provide evidence. The last I knew was they attacked the Airforce hangers in Colombo and an Electricity Grid. when did they bomb civilian target with their force. Why are you guys making up things.

how many SL ministers visited India recently?
I want to remind last time also India voted against Sri Lanka and India was the only Asian country who voted against us. :P

Sorry man, The present GOI or the Government if headed by BJP does not take the TN voice in the issue. because both do not have any thing to lose in TN.
So they will vote against SL, but will make sure that the resolution gets diluted like the last time.
I hate that INDIA does not have the balls to put SL in its right full place. we are trying to play safe with a hostile country here.
The last time I remember SL supported China in 1962 and still are. and they supported Pakistan in 1971 and still are.
Do we need to bend over to these guys to take a stand on them. We know that we can encircle them with our navy and SL can do nothing about it, nor will Pakistan or China risk a war for them. But do we have the balls is the question.

Very tough call for India but if UPA wants to live till 2014, they better vote against Sri Lanka.

DMK pulling out might just trigger a chain reaction which may throw this govt. out.

Bandaranaike Airport attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The number of planes destroyed are as follows in that attack and the number of cassualities too
three K-8 Karakorum trainer aircraft, one Mil Mi-17 helicopter, one Mil Mi-24 helicopter, two IAI Kfir fighter jets, and a MiG-27. Five K-8s and one MiG-27 were also damaged. A total of 26 aircraft were either damaged or destroyed in the attack
Eight Tigers and three air force officers died in the battle at the air base. The six remaining LTTE members then crossed the runway to nearby Bandaranaike Airport. Using their weapons, they began blowing up civilian aircraft, which were all empty. One Airbus A330 was destroyed by an explosive charge, another A330 by the explosion of an oil tank; an A340 was destroyed by a rocket fired from the terminal building. In addition, an A320-200 and an A340-300 were damaged in the assault.[2][3]
The attack was over by 8:30 am. All 14 guerrillas were killed, along with six Sri Lankan air force personnel and one soldier killed by friendly fire. 12 soldiers were injured, along with three Sri Lankan civilians and a Russian engineer.[1] No foreign tourists were harmed during the attack.

There was no civilian casualities, do you acknowledge, are you going to tell otherwise.
They were one of the regular army of a freedom fighting movement that acted most of its life on international war rules.
