But Democratic governments later didn't nullify the law so it has become a Democratic decision.

That is why I asked above: do you agree that the present path of the society in terms of religion and that of the country as a religious state is correct? If not, then what should be done to change it and in what way? What gives authority to the religious fringes to impose their will on wider society?

Being a Pakistani and Pakistani passport holder, I want my country to implement shariah laws as it was founded on two nation theory... otherwise objective of it's establishment will be questioned by the very people who supported the cause on "Pakistan ka Matlab Kia laa ilaha illallah"
