This is How you shoot

.
As for Rescue I like to help through giving money and other stuff but I would love to fight like a soldier against enemy. I want to go down fighting and hope in future war I get a chance. Army should allow civilians who want to volunteer
u can join reserves like mujahid force, Rangers etc etc.

I'd rather have all of my guys hit their targets in conventional shooting stances than one guy put up a show. How often is he gonna use that stance?

It's not about the stance, it a display of breathing and weapon control. In that contorted position with pressure on his diaphragm, i'd imagine hitting the target would not be an easy feat. I consider myself a half decent shot, I wouldn't be comfortable shooting like that.

Granted it is more a display of feathers rather than a unseating of talons. But impressive none the less.

This position is part of the training.. You can find pics of troops firing in this position in Pak mil multimedia thread..

SSG,Army,Paramilitary .

Do troops fire in that position in the heat of the battle? My question was about the practical application of shooting in that position. If the position helps, then everyone should be able to do what the gentleman did.

Once i was shooting an AK-47 on a glacier in Swat, the gun owner kept saying ''Afreen''.
Does the above sentence means something same.

Many doesn't even know the exact meaning of afreen but they use it when praising something :D

well in my dialect we say "Aa pareen" :D

Awesome, alaka zo khabaar wam chay tu Pakhtun ye, kho da rata pata na wa chay Wazir ye, Mashallah, Ghuda day Khoshal O sata.

Khashol de way wror.khudai de obad sota.

I am ready to have a face off with India one day. Whenever I hear about firing on LOC I just wonder why I am not there. Army seriously needs to start giving civilians a chance.
The reason they dont give civilians a chance is because war is not full of glory , it one of the worst situations one can be in . those who romanticize about war are deluded. once the bullets start to fly , only training will save you and you, have none!!!
I really feel my friend you should spend your time on more fruitful endeavors.
On the other hand if you feel otherwise then there is always ZH , you are his follower after all , go persuade him to let you join.:)

The simplest answer to your question is "yes"
In infantry, there are "desi terminologies" use to describe various movements. Like bandar (monkey) chaal, moor (peacock) chaal, saanp (snake) chaal etc.
Troops are trained to fire back, while moving under fire. This particular move is while rolling right or left to escape fire or give an impression to enemy of multiple shooters by quickly changing positions.
This move is very handy not only in traditional battlefield but also in urban CQB.

I wonder under what Circumstance one need to shoot in that position ??

I had a slight issue with my right Arm although doesn't hinder any of my work at all, and also no one guided me at when it was time but I hope I won't die until I fight in a war for Islam and Pakistan. I hope and pray may ALLAH give me a chance. @Slav Defence @RescueRanger

I read a hadith long time ago, "If one wishes to die as a martyr, and even if he dies on his bed, he will be considered a martyr" Obviously your intentions should be sincere.

Nothing more than an entertainment trick, in real gun fight you hug the mother earth as low as possible to present the least visible target and to shoot back use more stable, the tried and tested prone position.

Next time I am in Pak, lets go visit Karsaz range for a friendly match :guns:

Zarvee, you may believe it or not...... trust me, I have shot dead several birds, while in flight with my AK (in semi, mostly with one shot)............ don't even ask me what I can do with a pistol! :D

Sir, this shows that the shooter would work very well, in a rappelling scenario, head first.

Short of hanging them upside down, this is a good way of training multiple students at the same time.
