@Hyperion. Although shotguns are used for birds.. And I don't consider myself an Olympics shooter material.. But I've shot a few birds (in flight) with a G-3... Maybe I was lucky..

Bird on straight path or variable height (gaining, losing height and speed) distance at al? It's all about your gut feeling and experience....... for example, I feel pretty confident with one particular AK, and if I feel good about it, nothing escapes............... on a similar note, I own, let's say a very wide variety of western pistols, however, I feel confident only with one particular (not Western), that is Makarov (simply the best)......... having said that, Glock and CZ09 have/are quickly earning my respect.

If you're young enough and want to go with precision shooting, then I'd recommend going up from any .22LR to professional ones....... just remember, spend 70% time on dry practice.

As for Rescue I like to help through giving money and other stuff but I would love to fight like a soldier against enemy. I want to go down fighting and hope in future war I get a chance. Army should allow civilians who want to volunteer
