I wouldn't be so sure it's that simple. Pak has a very complicated relationship with the US. Old friends of convenience from the cold war whose relationship is being strained by the issue of islamist extremists. Don't the US fly regular drone flights around Pakistan? Didn't the US fly in unannounced with a SEAL team to near a Pak military installation to off Bin Laden?

Dude, don't take every words NiceGuy said seriously. If what he said is true, then there are roughly 22k Chinese troops disguising as workers and labourers all over VN right now. Not to mention a large number of Chinese who change nationality to VNese in the past, or those moved here to work, and decided to settle down.

This , in turn, necessitated the building of empires to acquire resources -- which in turn would feed the home country's industry. In the business of empire, there is really little to no consideration of the cultural affinities.
