i am yet to see charlie hebdo draw such a cartoon about their own staff killed in the january 2015 attack.

and then about sex attackers, the qaeda/ikhwaan terrorists that nato propped up against the libyan jamahiriya system and had 2000 of them brought to britain[1] in 2014 for some training went on male-rape rampage in britain... ordinary britons suffering for the wrongs of their government.

about the refugees, many of the syrians in them support president bashar al-assad and would not be the ones to do raping and plain criminality.

The French have always been more tolerant (of dissent) than the US. Let's accept that.

Freedom of speech is not a disgrace but Charlie Hebdo is making it a disgrace by mocking the dead infant as a potential future rapist.
And also this cartoon does not justify the terrorist attacks on Paris and on Hebdo's office though both the cartoon and the attacks are equally shameful.

When I wrote about the attacks last year, I said as much by specifying
that Charlie Hebdo made a career out of going too far in all ways and
always. I believe sincerely one should be free to express anything they
want but then again, I don't have to agree with nor respect your opinion.

I never defended Charlie-Hebdo's ideas, just their right to voice them!
And BTW, getting called racist due to my location of birth is just as stupid,
especially coming from a land with built-in racism as in the caste system.
But I don't discredit all Indians ( in this particular case ) for one sad comment
and no matter how wrong I may feel it to be, I support his right to express it.

It's not right to laugh at the death of innocents but it is a right, nonetheless!

I have similar view.. freedom of expression is an ideal we should try to achieve no matter how many people use it to further their agenda..

Unfortunately, there are people whom both defend their right, and APPLAUD CH for it's vile racism. They have the right, but for people go to out of their way to say that CH has a point in it's racist message, that imo is completely and uttterly bigoted.

I wonder what would happen if you eat beef in India, or draw offensive pictures of Hindu gods/goddess . I'm pretty sure you wouldnt get lynched - after all; Hinduism is a religion of peace. And ofcourse, chanced of death will be minimal; same in a Muslin neighborhood.

Everyone should indeed have a freedom of expression. Words or drawings dont hurt anyone like bullets do. Everyone also has a right to wage war. Like all the nations waged war throughout history because they had a right to do so. The attacked people have a right to defend themselves and take the war to their attackers if possible. Thats why i think people are at times too disrespectful to terrorists as well. Calling them scum etc. They have a right to wage war like all the peoples before us had. We shouldnt dislike them for that too much. Not much more than Nazis for example.

If you want to go by probability, let's talk about the hypothetical experiment. I'm sure the blasphemer will have a much higher probability to survive in a Hindu neighbourhood than in a Muslim one. It's even more easily observable if one goes to such neighbourhoods in neutral places i.e the west.
