French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has sparked fierce criticism after a cartoon in its latest edition depicted drowned Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi as a future sex attacker.

The picture references a series of sex attacks and robberies in Germany which reportedly involved a number of asylum seekers.

The image has the caption: "What would have become of little Aylan had he grown up? A bum groper in Germany".

The cartoon has been condemned as "racist" and "disgusting".

You are talking to wrong guys. Talk to indian media, they will hear you loud and clear and will go two steps ahead in fulfilling your request of creating cartoons showing atrocities towards Muslims around the world.

these assholes have no heart.how could they be so blunt and heartless he was just a little kid who was innocent to his core.by this logic he could be the guy how could have cure cancer, could be the great physicist of his time or could have been the next Zinedine Zidane(after all he was also the son of an Algerian immigrant).these so called guardian and custodian of freedom of speech disgust me.i am a liberal myself and support transparency and freedom of speech it bring awareness to the world and allow everyone to speak their mind but i believe it should not be used as tools with the sole purpose to hurt people feelings.it is a blessing to speak freely we should not make it a curse.

This is why we said we will never be Charlie Hebdo or France, from the beginning, unlike many here.
How can one feel sorry for these punks, and they wonder why terrorists attack France.
Dumb idiots, you have it coming to ya.

Disgusting , sick of a joke magazine (my ***)

Western countries are most racist in the world. But to convince thier own people that they are least rasict they spread propaganda against others. Just like they potray history in thier own way so that they come out morally right always, like justifying nuclear attack in Japan.

I won't be surprised if they get attacked again in future. Would they dare to mock at any victims died in the recent terrorist attacks? Very disturbing and only sick people can mock at a dead infant.

It's the right that has to be defended, guys!
The validity of freedom of expression is only actuated if all are covered.

When I wrote about the attacks last year, I said as much by specifying
that Charlie Hebdo made a career out of going too far in all ways and
always. I believe sincerely one should be free to express anything they
want but then again, I don't have to agree with nor respect your opinion.

I never defended Charlie-Hebdo's ideas, just their right to voice them!
And BTW, getting called racist due to my location of birth is just as stupid,
especially coming from a land with built-in racism as in the caste system.
But I don't discredit all Indians ( in this particular case ) for one sad comment
and no matter how wrong I may feel it to be, I support his right to express it.

It's not right to laugh at the death of innocents but it is a right, nonetheless!

Peace out, Tay.

If you cannot justify this, you shouldn't justify that(terrorist attack)....'cause if you justify that, they'll justify this......like this, only extremists of both parties will gain prominence......you should take ONE moral stance which shouldn't change upon the situation.......either both are right or both are wrong.

I get your point but come on,even many French would agree that this goes to far and is unacceptable.
