'There is no God,' Stephen Hawking writes in final book

Eating, digesting and excreting of one animal by another is just a conversion of matter and energy in the whole.

It is perfectly natural. One life forming a part of another.

Cheers, Doc

You are alluding to the original vedic form. :D

There is no right or wrong. Just Karma and Dharma.

I personally do not have a problem with either the original or the reformed.

I am talking about Zoroastrian tenets and beliefs.

Yes the Vedic Hindus had exactly the same. We lived together for a pretty long time.

Scratch that. We were one people.

And ate beef too.

It would be accurate to say then that beef and vegetarianism is an Indian construct. Not a Hindu one.

And I am perfectly comfortable accepting and respecting that.

If people say there is no God and use science to prove logic and universal creation. My question to all these so called scientific people is what is " Nature"?

Why does science use the word or term nature or natural laws or natural disasters for things it cant explain?? Is Nature another word for God????

Let me ask you a simple question. Being a theist do you believe a simple phenomenon like Rain fall - an act of God ?

Can humans predict an act of God ?

But here we have human meteorologist predicting every day, when its gonna rain and when its not.

You hit the nail on it's head, whatever science is not able to explain, is called an act of God or nature. But as science progresses - it is able explain more and more of these so called natural phenomenons and the space for God is shrinking.

God is far from being imaginary.. science proves it in every scientific field of study!
Are all those scientific equations in all fields of sciences depicting the Universe from the microcosm to the macrocosm.. just imaginary? .. or are they proof of an infinite intelligence behind nature's laws?.. these are too exact and comprehensive, that they leave no place for speculations or doubt about the existence of this infinite, omnipresent and omniscient intelligence behind the universe's order of things.. we call GOD..

Go ahead please show me - which scientific experiment proved the existence of God and how?

Please don't be vague, be exact, because science is a very exact study.

God hasn't prohibited and restricted humans from predicting anything they want to. Humans can predict but can they at the same time control the outcome. Rain in question, is an act of God's laws, humans if they master the understanding of those laws they can even make rain happen, but can they guarantee or restrict the outcome? We can predict hurricanes, earthquakes but it remains a prediction.

Are atheist @SALMAN F ???o_O and please give me that answer @SALMAN F
I asked only one question that is saying there is no God, human created everything from wheel to rockets, and frm simple tool to ISS/LHC, so why nonbelievers always says that universe created by itself, i didn't understand why nonbelievers thinks that
please answer my this question @SALMAM F :p::P;):enjoy:
See, im not religious, neither im atheist.
I dont believe anything blindly. I chose to accept the middle way.
Yes.. there is some natural power and energy working in the universe. But this is not Quranic Allah for sure. Thats i know 100% .

They said accident give you a whole universe for free the question is where the first energy that made the big bang where did it came from

People nothing is just nothing simple as that

if someone ask you for a money and your pocket is empty then you say I have nothing that what nothing means!?!?!?

but Mr Stephen Hawkins said NO there is another meaning for nothing??????? nothing means something:undecided:
and they try to explain to us how nothing means something!! they said nothing doesn't mean nothing at all it means positive and negative charge somewhere prior to the big bang that created the universe please does this make any sense if you don't believe me go and watch the documentary everything from nothing

There is a saying in English that captures my stand on this whole science Vs God dukhda quite brilliantly ....

No atheist in a foxhole.

As a theist - can you allow yourself to believe - that you as puny human can predict an act of God ?

Why do you call them God's laws ?

Today we can create artificial rain or even an artificial sun - but - if tomorrow or even thousand years tomorrow - we develop a technology that can guarantee or restrict the rainfall or hurricanes - will that make us Gods ?

Whatever you said is valid in the region where vedic or similar kind of religions are followed but then there are Abrahamic religions that gives you different idea of life, GOD and monotheism. If you claim that human created GOD then will you able to trace out by any research that where it have been exactly used for the first time? Which civilization used it for first time and why their are monotheistic and polytheistic religion exist?

As I have said before, like all things on this planet, religion too has gone through an evolution through the course of human history.

You see this evolution happening when you see the comparative timeline of all humans religions -

As far the recorded history is concerned.

We have Egyptian praying to cats and dogs from about ten thousand years ago to Greeks praying to natural phenomenons like sun, we had Hindus and Romans around the same time period - praying to idols.

Then came Judaism - which believed in imaginary, invisible God. Christianity and Islam being further evolution of the same concept.

Believe it or not, but now Atheism is the latest of all human religions.

.
As a theist - can you allow yourself to believe - that you as puny human can predict an act of God ?

Yes as a puny theist I can say that we can and may be able to predict anything, cause God himself told us to ponder and use this brain that has been given to us. You are looking at God from a very conservative human's eye. Change the lens please.

Why do you call them God's laws ?

Because HE himself calls them that. Humans tried abusing those laws and here we are with a sudden climate change. God told you everything you need for living on this Earth has been provided strive and prosper. Now a theist can sit on his lazy rear and wait for God to send angels with sustenance, and an atheist can plough and raise a filed of wheat, we all know the outcome. God doesn't change HIS laws for this Earth, for example when an Atheist sows a mango seed, takes care of the plant ...... so does God send angels to change the outcome? Outcome is predefined, a law that nature will take it's course.

Today we can create artificial rain or even an artificial sun - but - if tomorrow or even thousand years tomorrow - we develop a technology that can guarantee or restrict the rainfall or hurricanes - will that make us Gods ?

No ........... I asked you a very simple thing, we can today make rain ..... predict rain, but can we alter the outcome? will we be able to alter it after tens of thousands of years? Will we be producing apples from mango seeds? We can predict an asteroid heading towards our planet, but are we capable of changing it's course or the results after its collision?

Isn't it funny ?

In this thread Muslims are defending religion and Hindus being "Edgy" teens despite having temples in their house band backwards to defend athism become some white guy said There's no God...

And same people complain here that Hindus are declining in numbers 24/7.

I told gadkari the same thing when he was slimily (in character) insinuating that Parsis had lost their culture and were Christian in their way of life.

At the very least a child should know his prayers and the answers to basic questions.

A flowing meandering river shouldn't fall off a cliff.

in fact watch the whole episode of A Clockwork Origin.

a delightful satire on intellectuals such as Stephen Hawking.
Not that Hawking is wrong. He is spot on since he uses proven facts to come to conclusion.
There is a infinitely more unknown in the universe than the known, so, what Hawking knew about the universe is a water molecule in an ocean.
