In Islam , God is energy .Neither it can be created nor destroyed according to scientific facts.

But energy runs universe.

Moreover no one has power to observe that kind of energy

The late physicist's last book tackles Brief Answers to the Big Questions.

"Do I have faith?" he writes in Brief Answers to the Big Questions. "We are each free to believe what we want, and it's my view that the simplest explanation is that there is no God. No one created the universe, and no one directs our fate."

I have much rspect for SH but I think everybody has right to have faith. If he does not believe in god - fine. There is litle to be gained by pushing this any further as long as others do not push their faith on you. Many people also think there no such thing as love but just a practical manifestation of needs.

God is the supreme intelligence running the universe..
Physicists are still struggling with minor issues of energy in the universe.. just last week it was found out that the black holes are not behind the dark matter! reversing a scientific belief holding as absolute truth for decades..we Muslims are right when we say Allah knows better..
I liked Stephen Hawking first book, I still recommand it.. but his last book made me think of a crippled man who has it against the creator!!!

Stephen Hawking reached the half of the first part of the Shahadat. "There is no god"
If he researched a little bit more, he might have completed the second half of the first part as well. "but Allah"
And then he might have reached the full hidaya and also said "Muhammad is the [last] messenger of Allah"

I wonder how it went after he passed away.....surprise or shock, I'd bet on shock!

Does Not say its energy then.

Try rubbing the moolah for more juice

Hazrat Musa A.S and his followers once wanted to see Allah

Allah told them they cant see .

Latter Allah has shown his smallest size of flash light ..... All of them died except Hazrat Musa A.S....
consequently ,the mountain became black due to flash of light ..it is still there

according to my conclusion God is energy
