First of all da da translating into 'uncle' is in-accurate.

Da(大), mean big, DaDa(大大) Means the mother of all BIG, it could be the big Boss of all bosses, or it could the big Boss of all gangs, underground societies, or criminal organizations etc.

I never heard of any government official media call Xi Jinping Xi da da.

Chines official media are very official, they never use anything unofficial.

Some dregs in the culture get to be eliminated, in China women used to have to wrap their feet very tiny which made women even have trouble doing the normal walking let along working.
