It begs the question, how could anyone do any real maths without numbers, decimals and algebra. This guy enunciates typical colonial European BS that the greeks were the creator of maths which is utter nonsense. The Eygyptians were even more advance and were the first ones to create and use Pi.

Arabs didn't really have a culture of science, philosophy or critical thinking. Lack of resources combined with countless warring tribes doesn't really give you much time to think about science, mathematics or philosophy. The big boys of this game were the Greeks, Persians, People of Indian subcontinent and the Chinese. What the Arab rulers of that time did was great though, they created a culture of promoting science and their empire helped bring this knowledge to rest of the known world. The so called Islamic golden age wouldn't have happened without Persians, no matter what some silly brainwashed people may think.
